For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm almost 2 meters long, and when I started, I was more than 157 kg. Within 11 weeks, I lost 22 kg. Almost every week, I lost 1.5 kg and more after the big water loss. For me, it's an addition to the bigger plan. Yes, I use Wegovy (now on 1 mg), but I also go to the gym 5 times a week and add some hour-long walks to my day. And yes, I also have a strict timeframe where I have my meals. And yes, they are mostly veggies and some yogurt with some granola for some fiber. I had some side effects like heartburn, burping, constipation, and I'm more tired than before. But I think that's a normal thing to process, especially when you make the transition. If you are seriously overweight, please consider this medicine as a small part of the bigger plan!"

"I’ve been on Wegovy for just over a year. At first, I experienced heartburn and a little bit of nausea and fatigue. I only threw up once. I’m adjusted to it now, and it’s keeping the weight I lost off, which was 60 pounds. I used to get migraines the day after injection, sometimes a couple of days in a row. I have found that if I take the injection earlier in the day around lunchtime and I also eat around the time I take the injection, I have fewer headaches. Please remember, you should avoid greasy foods because that causes the nausea and the heartburn, although I do enjoy an occasional hamburger. I am starting to notice a vision issue in one eye, but I don’t know if it’s related. I’m getting ready to see an ophthalmologist. I’m also in my 50s and knew already that I have the beginnings of cataracts. At first, injections cause constipation, eating better causes them to become regular for me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "No adverse side effects. Just took 8th injection and last at 0.5 mg. Next week, dosage goes to 1 mg. Down 16 pounds in 7 weeks. I was already taking Metamucil every morning, so no constipation as some have reported, but I am having less bowel movements now. I imagine I would be constipated without it. Also take Nexium daily, so heartburn really hasn't been an issue more than it already was. Started at 6 ft and 251 pounds. Was 235 today. Goal is between 180 and 200."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Love this drug. I’ve lost 34 lbs with very little side effects. You do have to watch what you eat, some foods, especially fried foods, make you feel horrible. I’ve been on it for 1 year, which is good because I lost slowly, not all at once. The longer you keep the weight off. You do have to change your eating habits. In the beginning, I had a lot of heartburn, but I took OTC medicine, and eventually, I no longer had this problem. I’m not a big water drinker, so I’m trying to drink more water to help with constipation. You also have to limit your alcohol intake, so 1 glass of wine at dinner, and that’s it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’ve been on Wegovy for 3 months and have lost 18 lbs. I have had constant heartburn and constipation. I really haven’t felt good since I began with Wegovy. Stool softeners and an occasional suppository have helped. I keep hoping the heartburn will improve, but it doesn’t. Using liquid Mylanta for temporary relief. Think twice before starting. It’s definitely not a pleasant way to lose weight."
