For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "2-3 days per week I suffer from poor sleep and fatigue accordingly. Trying to get to sleep is bad, with body noises making it impossible. Also, constant burping with gas buildup, farting at night is awful, watery eyes. The other 4 days is fine. The days are not in a row and often vary each week. My rating of the medicine would vary on different days, bad days, bad rating."

For Type 2 Diabetes "Lots of stomach pain, gas, lots of nausea. This occurs before eating on a lot of occasions. Also, lots of symptoms of GERD after increasing dose from 0.5 to 1 mg. Ozempic does work for my diabetes, but the cost is high. I was given this as a cardiac-friendly medicine, but the GERD and excessive bathroom and stomach issues get the heart worked up."

For Type 2 Diabetes "After about 8 months, I have lost approximately 25 pounds, mostly during the first few months. Currently, the digestive system is rebelling. I do not know if this is because of the Ozempic or some other issue. For example, normal bowel movements are once every 4-5 days, followed by heavy gassy events with only minor feces amounts, but with what looks like mucus membrane discharge. The gassy issue feels as if I have turned severely lactose intolerant."

For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "Gas and belching is bothering my wife more than me. Doesn't seem to be getting any less with time. It did get worse when I started Repatha injections. Side effects aren't great, but not likely to kill me. Using 1 mg now, but the doctor is suggesting 2 mg, which to me sounds like double the effects. It's usually one or two days a week that aren't great... 3 or 4 days a week, and the wife will move to a spare room. Weight reduction has been 1 to 1.5 lbs a week."
