"I use Ozempic for chronic kidney disease. I was in the beginning of stage 4 in the GFR stages, a 29. After 1 month of Ozempic, I'm now in stage 3a with a GFR of 45. This means I don't have to worry about dialysis for right now. I did have severe nausea, with some vomiting, and a slight headache in the beginning, but those have gone away. Now I concentrate on making sure I am drinking enough water, eating enough food, and getting the correct amount of protein for me. I have lost over 20 lbs in that month, which means almost 2 clothes sizes lost. The Ozempic is easy to use, just attach a new needle, dial in the dose, and inject into a fatty area once a week. It has done what I had hoped for, it stopped the progression of the CKD (chronic kidney disease) while also causing a much-needed weight loss. Due to other health issues, I am unable to exercise much, so the weight loss is because of the effects of the Ozempic. I have also gone from prediabetic to normal blood glucose level and A1C."

"Took .25 for 4 weeks, now on week 3 of .5. Hardly eating, feel full all the time. A lot of burning, hiccups during the night, general tired feeling, losing some weight, some constipation. Supposedly will get balance at 12 weeks. Will see. So far, not comfortable. Pharmacist recommended Prilosec for gas, hiccups, etc."

"I have worked my way up to 1.0 mg Ozempic. Yes, it keeps my A1C intact and I have lost some weight too. But I suffer in other ways: constant nausea, dizziness, and stomach pain."

"I have had periodic constipation and diarrhea. I have lost ten pounds. I am tired at times and do not sleep well and urinate 2 to 3 times a night. I am dizzy at times and lose my balance easily."

"I have been on Ozempic for the past 1 1/2 months. Gradually increased from 0.25 mg for 4 weeks, then 0.5 mg since then. After reading other reviews, the best tip I found was injecting into my thigh instead of the abdomen. Mild nausea, backache, and constipation the first 2 weeks, and nothing now but the feeling of fullness soon after eating, about 75% as much as usual. I have less interest in sugary or fried foods and have lost 12 pounds, about 2 pounds a week. At 74, my Type 2 diabetes is diet-controlled with good A1C's, so my primary use is for weight loss and preserving kidney functioning. The tiny 27 gauge needle is painless, just wish I had discovered Ozempic sooner!"
