Ribociclib for Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I have been on Kisqali since September 2018, with no disease progression. Tumor markers in the “normal” range. Side effects: nausea, diarrhea, joint pain, some hair loss in the early stages, the occasional rash or skin sensitivity, fatigue. Having said all of this, I am living my life, working full-time and traveling when possible... life is good!"

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer, Metastatic "De novo diagnosis 3/21/18, started 600 mg with 2.5 mg Femara on 3/23/18. Single bone met on right humeral head. Complete remission in July 2019 (after 16 months). 32 months since diagnosis, still clear scans. Some hair thinning at first, along with occasional nausea, blurry vision (mostly in the AM), joint pain, and fatigue. Fatigue is the worst part for me, but my quality of life has not changed at all."

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer, Metastatic "Have been on Kisqali since May 2017 with no progression. First diagnosed January 2011 and metastatic September 2016 with tumor on L3 vertebrae - 10 rounds radiation. Started anastrozole November 2011 and will never go off. No problems other than hair thinning and occasional fatigue. Only downside is my co-pay."

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer "Just diagnosed. One month so far. 600mg. I take them with dinner, and no nausea. Mild headaches, so drink lots of water. Constipation, so again, drink your water. Stool softener will help. Mild rash, no itching. Light hair loss in the shower. Fatigue is prevalent."

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer, Metastatic "I was previously on Ibrance 100mg for nearly three years when it stopped working. My doctor put me on Kisqali about one month ago. I noticed having less fatigue and brain fog. Too soon to know how well it is keeping my cancer from progressing."

For Breast Cancer, Metastatic "At first, Ribociclib caused nausea and vomiting, so I was reluctant to eat and lost about 20 lb in 2 months. Eating 30 minutes beforehand tends to prevent nausea. Another immediate side effect was major fatigue. For the first month, I could barely get out of bed. Sometimes I slept more than 24 hours, only waking every 6 to 10 hours for bathroom breaks, then going back to sleep again. This is very frustrating, but it has improved over time. My depression has worsened - to the point where I think about abandoning Ribociclib because feeling like this for 3/4 of the time is unsustainable - but the medication is very effective. An early blood test showed a significant reduction in tumor markers. This reduction continued in my next blood test. It looks like the treatment is very effective at preventing the tumors from growing. I don't know if any of them have shrunk. A bone scan today should tell us this."

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer "Severe medical PTSD kept me from tx for 14 years p/ finding the lump, and trauma tx was delayed due to gaslighting about medical PTSD. When I became able to re-enter the medical system, my HR+, HER2- BC had metastasized only to contralateral axillary lymph nodes (early stage 4). I started Letrozole first and the tumors improved just on Letrozole, but once I started Kisqali after a normal EKG, initially new tumors stopped forming, the skin healed, bleeding stopped and existing tumors shrank and continue to shrink (slower now than initially). Dosage was cut to 400 mg/day due to neutropenia after 3 months. Just finished 1 year on the med. Most recent scans show no bone mets, no lymph nodes and no progression near the primary tumor. Perceptible side effects minimal. Slight fatigue, hard to retain muscle, loose stools. I use a lot of supportive supplements. Dealing with the pharmacy is a nightmare but the med itself I could hardly be happier. I definitely did not expect such positive results when I started tx."

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer, Metastatic "In size. There are side effects: fatigue, reflux, constipation, heart rate disturbances (not sure if this is due to Kisqali or Letrozole). Hope it won't be worse, working, managing a social life."

Ribociclib for Breast Cancer, Metastatic "Have been on Kisqali for two months. In the first week, three tablets every day, but due to side effects of diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue, reduced it to one. Still suffer the above, but not as severely. I do have Fulvestrant injections on a monthly basis. I am hoping with perseverance, side effects will decrease. I had breast cancer twenty-five years ago with metastasis in the last twelve, still not on the organs. I am 83 years old."
