"Horrible medication. This is my first review for anything, but I felt I had to say something. I was on oxycodone 10/325 for years for chronic pain and never had a problem with side effects. Since being on Oxaydo, from day one, I've felt sick. Stomach pain and burning, nausea, constipation, horrible headaches, and bouts of dizziness, not to mention I'm in more pain now than ever. I've barely left the house since I started this crap. While I think an abuse-deterrent is a great idea, something is not right with this medication."

"I have been on Oxaydo for over a year, and I'm very satisfied with how it works. I’m prescribed to take 3 pills a day. I take 2 at one time and another at bedtime. I have neuropathy and an autoimmune disease. What I like best is that it doesn’t actually contain any type of aspirin, which with this med as a maintenance pain reliever is a very good thing because on this med you have less chances of having liver damage. It does not give you the ‘high’ that other pain meds give you, but if you take it for the right reason, that shouldn’t be an issue. I switched from Percocet to this medication because of the damage that the Percocet of long-term use could cause."

"It doesn't do anything for pain. I have had 2 surgeries: ACL and MCL tear. Now I have bone on bone. I need a knee replacement, but I'm too young. I have 4 orthopedic docs tell me to wait 10 more years, so now I have to be in pain. This is the meds I have to take, 3 a day. They do nothing."

"This is good, effective pain relief. The only thing I don't like is the huge cost. I feel guilty for my health plan to have to shell out over a thousand dollars a month just to have the fillers added to oxycodone. I take cellulose fiber daily and never have constipation. I would never sell or abuse my medicine. I am so grateful for the pain relief. There are no side effects. I have a sensitive stomach. They do not get me high. I just wish Oxaydo was cheaper. The price we pay so someone on the streets can abuse."

"Recently I was switched to this version of oxycodone because of all the hoopla with drug addicts abusing pain medication. I immediately had problems with breathing and had isolated pains in my side and under my rib cage. I spoke to the pharmacy and was told that it “probably” wasn’t from this med. However, it occurs within a half hour of taking this med and does not happen on other oxycodone versions. The doctors are having their hands tied. There’s absolutely something in the additives that are strongly disrupting my upper respiratory and nasal passages. Believe me, I have never even entered the thought of inhalation or other abuse of this med."

"BEWARE OF ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO FILLERS. My wife has recently attempted to take this medication for chronic pain. Unfortunately, it's unusable for her. They have put an additive in the filler that causes her severe stomach gastroparesis. In layman's terms, that means it causes her stomach and digestive system to lock up and shut down - she's unable to digest it or almost anything else now. She took the pills (1 every 8 hours) for about 5 days until she realized that they were causing an inflammation of her stomach lining and digestive tract. Not only that, but subsequently, she hasn't been able to eat anything besides fluids and the most easy-to-digest foods. She can't eat anything solid, nothing acidic either, even if it's in a liquid form."

"I have been taking this with Gabapentin for 2.5 months now. It is so hard just to get this medication filled. Oxaydo does not help with the pain level very much. I am allergic to anti-inflammatory drugs. I was hospitalized from Motrin/Advil. Almost destroyed my whole stomach. My medical issues will be lifelong from severe arthritis disease. I am almost crippled and in dire need of pain control medication. This med is not very good, but what can I do when doctors don't or won't help."

"Absolutely terrible medicine!! Does nothing for pain. Ibuprofen 800 is about the equivalent. Not to mention constipation. Asked to be lowered from these to 5 mg regular oxycodone & my doc wouldn't do it. Needless to say, I'm in the process of finding a new doctor. If you have a choice between Oxaydo & anything else, opt for the latter."

"I have been on this for 3 months now, and considering the horrible time I had with tramadol, I love this medication. My doctor told me it is a safer alternative to classic Percocet, and I would have to say I agree. I have a spinal injury, so pain is a constant in my life. This has been a nice balance with pain relief, so I can function without feeling drugged up or having horrible side effects. I would recommend this to anyone. I do not 'crave' it like I did when I was on regular Percocet. Sometimes I even forget to take it for an hour or so after the specified time. My ONLY complaint is that it is hard to find. Three times I have had to have my pharmacy order it and wait days without meds for them to get it in."

"All this is oxycodone with extra filler as an abuse deterrent. If you don't respond well to oxycodone, OxyContin, or Percocet, then you won't have a favorable response to this med either, as it's the exact same active ingredient. I've been on several different meds over the years but always return back to the oxy because it's hands down the most effective with fewest side effects."

"Oxaydo caused me worse pain. It had me to where I was unable to walk due to hip and leg pain and burning, which also caused me depression because it was causing me so much pain. I thought my condition was getting worse, and I thought I was going to end up in a wheelchair. But after researching and learning opioids can do that, I stopped them cold turkey, and I have never felt better. I still have pudendal nerve and back pain, but I will never take this medicine again."

"Oxaydo is terrible and does not work whatsoever. I work for hours cooking and delivering catering. I have chronic back pain, and this medicine does nothing. I work hard and can find no relief because people want to be stupid and abuse drugs. Gzzzz"

"Breast cancer left side and radiation damage. My left arm is in constant pain. I work long hours, so I don't want to make any pain meds during work but want something to help me sleep through the night - pain relief. The OTC meds are tearing my stomach and causing uncontrolled bowel movements. Would this help with pain so I can rest? It's been over 16 months, and I have not had more than 6 hours of sleep. I also want to make sure this is not habit forming."

"I started going to a pain clinic for 2 months now for chronic pain in my lower back, hips, neck, and headache. I also have fibromyalgia. They first started me on the 5 mg of this Oxaydo, along with a film called Belbuca and Gabapentin. I told my doctor I felt like the pills did not work as well as the old Percocet. She upped me to 7.5 and increased the film to 300. I'm still in an extreme amount of pain, and I've tried taking 2 of the pills, but still, no relief. I feel like it's a dummy pill to make you think you're taking a pain pill! My next visit, she has to change something. Over $1000 and no relief! What's really going on with this Oxaydo?"
