For Oral Thrush "63 yrs old, was prescribed liquid nystatin 100,000 units/ml, 2 tsp. four times a day as needed for thrush that was in my throat, and I believe going into my esophagus. It was not in my mouth this time (I had it 6 years ago). I read where hydrogen peroxide kills it and had been using toothpaste with hydrogen peroxide in it, so it wasn't on my tongue. But my throat hurt, and I was actually coughing up blood in my sputum. After only two doses, my throat and chest don't hurt, coughing has lessened, and I believe the bleeding has stopped! I noticed the dose is for kids, but I'm 63. However, it is working! I could hardly swallow, it hurt so much. Not hurting after only 2 doses. Amazing medicine! I was given a 3-day supply."

For Oral Thrush "It was prescribed to me because of oral thrush complications from the yeast infection caused by the Macrobid that was prescribed to me. Had a burning sensation in my mouth after days of using, getting my gums to feel burned, itchy mouth and eyes, feels like I'm gonna have a sore throat, also had some palpitations. Phoned the pharmacy, told them about my symptoms and was told to stop the medication. Went back to the doctor who prescribed the medication, told me I should continue and try the medication again since she thinks it kinda improved the thrush. It did somehow, but with all the side effects, I was skeptical. I'm trying it again on the 2nd day of the second attempt, let's see what happens."

For Oral Thrush "Used it for a week as I picked up what I think was thrush after an endoscopy. This didn't work as I've still got a dry mouth and sore throat that won't go away after 4 weeks."

For Oral Thrush "I'm currently having chemo, and with my low WCC, developed a lovely case of oral thrush. It was really sore to swallow, and the back of my throat was pretty coated. Been taking nystatin for 2 days and have already noted a great improvement, so thumbs up from me. It doesn't taste too bad either."
