For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Took this birth control for 1 1/2 months, and it was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I was prescribed this medicine due to a cyst that kept rupturing and causing me lots of pain. I’ve already had 1 ovary removed due to this, but the doctors didn’t want to remove this one. I bled the entire 1 1/2 months with cramps so bad that I took pain meds daily. I couldn’t even walk straight, the pain was so bad. Halfway through, I started producing blood clots the size of golf balls. They were so big I could feel them sliding out when I stood up. Finally, I was switched to SLYND and instantly stopped bleeding. I wouldn’t recommend this pill to anyone. It was the most miserable month of my life."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I’m on my 3rd month on this birth control, and I am exhausted. The first two months I had a period for two weeks long, with MAJOR cramps. As of now, I’m currently on my 8th day of my period and have had cramps every day so far. The only positive is I don’t have migraines like my last birth control. But, at this point, I’ve decided to get off of it. Reading the previous comments gives me comfort that I’m not the only one going through it. But I have officially decided to stop taking this birth control, and I would not recommend it to anyone else. I’m giving it a two rating because I haven’t gotten pregnant."

For Birth Control "I have been on this BC for about 4 months now. My doctor put me on this brand because I'm breastfeeding. My milk supply did not change. Only had one period 8 days after I started taking it, I haven't had one since. The first and second month had me with cramps, no bleeding, and I was so tired, but that went away. I am hungry a lot! After I eat, I still feel hungry. Thank God I don't gain weight easily. Don't have any problems on the pill, but I am kind of worried about not getting my period. I have to take a PT every month to make sure. I will give this a 9! Love it, best BC I have been on!"

For Birth Control "I just started my third pack of this. I was on a different birth control before, and I loved it, but I gained weight. I got switched to Norlyda, and I lost the weight I had gained. It makes my cycle very long, which does worry me occasionally. The only side effect I do have is worse cramps on my period, and it makes me much more emotional."

For Birth Control "I started these birth control pills Norlyda 2 weeks ago. After the second day of taking them, I started a period that lasted for 8 days. It stopped and came back 4 days later. It has now been on for another week and still hasn't ended. It’s heavy, and I’m going through tampons like crazy. I have to wear a pad as well because the flow is so heavy. The cramps are horrible. I’ve been on birth control pills before and never had an experience like this. I’ve contacted my doctor and was told that this is normal because my period has to regulate and that it can take up to 3 months with these pills to regulate. Meaning that I can be bleeding like this for 3 months. There is no way losing this much blood for all these days is normal. I will be contacting my doctor again to see if they can prescribe me another kind of pill because I cannot deal with all this bleeding and cramping. Also, these pills don’t have placebos. You never know when your period is going to arrive. I do not recommend these."
