Mometasone topical for Dermatitis "As others have said, this product can work wonders. However, it is very potent, so take care to spread thinly as the instructions state. Also, it's vitally important to only use for very short periods of time. Personally, I'd use it for just 24 hours, then stop and use a simple emollient for a few days. Respect the ointment!"

Mometasone topical for Psoriasis "Had severe psoriasis for eight months. I suffer from guttate psoriasis, and after I got strep throat ages ago, my psoriasis flared up! I used every cream I could get, and none of them worked. Until I found Elocon cream, and my body has never looked so clear in months. Would strongly recommend this steroid cream to anyone who is suffering from psoriasis. I can finally show some skin, and I'm happy. I'm still treating it, but it's going away."

For Eczema "My 3-year-old son suffers from eczema! It is one of the worst cases his doctor has seen. He scratches till it bleeds. It's behind his legs, between his fingers, bends of his arms. He has been using this cream for about 3 days only. As of now, it is helping but not cleared up completely!"

Mometasone topical for Psoriasis "I was on Elocon for a few years for my scalp psoriasis. I decided to give it up, but no one told me of the side effects! I came out with red blotches on my face and little tiny spots. It started around the eyes and gradually crept down under the eyes and onto my cheeks. It lasted two weeks, and I had to have antibiotics. The doc eventually suggested I only use it once or twice a week, but these wretched spots keep coming back. What can I do, please? Any suggestions? It’s a wonderful steroid if one wants to stay on steroids!"

For Eczema "I’ve used mometasone for about 7-8 years, and it has helped my skin tremendously. I’ve had moderate to severe eczema since the age of 6. I’ve tried all types of different creams and medicines to help heal and keep my skin under control. This medicine, by far, is the best! It comes as a cream and an ointment, it doesn’t sting or leave a strong odor. However, the cream does leave a bit of a trace, especially when applied to dry skin. I use Dove sensitive skin body wash, either Aveeno skin relief moisturizing lotion and mometasone, and my skin is generally pretty clear. I would definitely recommend a try!"

Mometasone topical for Eczema "I have used Elocon for myself and all of my children. We all have very sensitive skin and get very bad eczema. Within one use, it usually helps clear it up so quickly. I highly recommend this medication, and if you use non-perfumed lotions daily, you don’t need to use the medication often. They can be used on an as-needed basis."

For Psoriasis "I want to say that this cream does suspend the effects of psoriasis, and you do feel good when you see clear skin for that period of time. However, I have been using this cream for ten years now, and I can only wonder if there is something out there that is safer and would have more permanent results. I know this is hard to deal with, but hang in there - clear days ahead."

"I started out having chapped lips about six months ago. Went to a doctor and then a dermatologist three times. My condition kept getting worse, and finally, I saw a new dermatologist. By the time I saw the new doctor, my lips, above my lip, were raw. He recommended mometasone, and within one day, my condition was 95% gone. It is a miracle cream."

Mometasone topical "I have had a skin problem on the back of my hands for about 12 years. A red itching under the skin followed by the affected area of skin peeling. This is very unsightly. I think it was caused by handling blood and bone while working in a garden nursery. Elocon appears to have cured this after one week of treatment. I hope it is permanent."

For Psoriasis "It's almost too good to be true. I've tried every cream and shampoo with little to no effect on my psoriasis until my doctor prescribed mometasone. It's been a week now and I've reduced those red itchy patches to twice their sizes. I'm so happy now. Strongly recommended."

For Atopic Dermatitis "After 6 months of trying 'everything,' including OTC steroids for a pernicious itchy rash on my neck and face, I got a tube of mometasone. The cream totally eliminated the scaly, bumpy, red, itching, and burning in 36 hours (after 1 application). I used a 'thin film' as recommended once a day for a week, and that has solved this agonizing problem. I call it miraculous and couldn't be more satisfied. Restores my faith in medication! Note that it says NOT to use for extended periods."

For Eczema "Mometasone is a life-changer. Before this medication, I was constantly feeling like ants were crawling on my scalp, and I had loads of scabs from the itching. The itching would be so bad I’d have to take showers mid-day to relieve the itch. This medication eliminated that itch almost immediately. I put a few drops on my scalp right after a shower, and I don’t notice itching anymore. The scabs mainly went away in the 1st week and don’t seem to be returning. Wish I’d started this med sooner!"

Mometasone topical for Eczema "My daughter has eczema. When using Elocon, she stops scratching instantly. LOVE IT. Also, I use pure Vaseline. Also, she bathes with Dove unscented sensitive soap, and she rarely breakouts. Try it."
