"After years of a soggy, smelly life, I had given up. (I am 75.) I underwent bladder tightening surgery about 5 years ago, and it really helped -- for about 4 years. Then, the disgusting world of adult diapers came back. My doctor prescribed mybetriq, and it worked almost immediately, absolute heaven!! However, as soon as the smells, pads, and diapers left, Parkinson's moved in, and with a vengeance. So, must I make a decision? Which disease is the least horrible: shaking, jerking, balance problems, and all that accompany Parkinson's -- or incontinence and all the embarrassment that condition brings? Which life is the least miserable? With myrbetrig, I can sleep through the night, watch a movie straight through, and actually wear grown up clothes -- but shake, jerk, and walk like a drunk. Which devil should I chose?"

"I’ve been using this drug and started getting UTI's all the time, headaches, and back aches, so I started Googling, and low and behold, it was all there. I stopped Myrbetriq immediately, I’m just having to do my 3 times a night in the bathroom!!!!!"

"Took 25 mg for 3 months, urgency decreased but stress incontinence was the same (as I was told to expect). By 2 or 3 months it wasn't working as well so my Uro increased to 50 mg. (Started taking just last week) I've noticed all along hair thinning and headaches, but didn't make the connection until I read reviews. Now l having swelling in my feet, but it could be related to another med. Cardiologist gave me a diuretic if it happens again. I'll try to finish out the 90 day supply I have already paid for and see how it goes. After that, I can't afford it anyway due to the donut hole. I have several high copay prescriptions and I've had to choose between heart and arthritis meds and bladder leaks. Myrbetriq isn't worth the cost."

"I only used Myrbetriq 3 times and quit because of side effects. Some dizziness the first 2 days but after the third dose, I woke at 3am feeling very dizzy and nauseous. After a few hours the nausea went away but the dizziness persisted and was so bad, could not get out of bed at all. This was yesterday; today I am much better and will look at other treatments."

"My dr. prescribed Myrbetriq to help with frequent bath room trips. I took it for several months. Then I started losing my teeth. They would break at the gums. I lost 5 teeth within a 6 month period. I have others that are loose. Could this be a side effect from taking Myrbetriq"

"I have been taking 50mg now for two weeks. It has changed my life. I don't need to wear depends anymore. I have no side effects that I can discern. I wish it wasn't so expensive. I learned I could save money by ordering 90 days instead of 30 days. So for 90 days, the cost is around $450. A 30-day supply is about $340."

"I was on generic Detrol LA for years for bladder problems related to a Multiple Sclerosis. It stopped working after many years, so my neuro increased dosage. That worked for another three years, then stopped working altogether. Before trying a new medicine, my neurologist referred me to a urologist who prescribed Myrbetriq after performing a few tests. She told me it may take some time before I saw results. I started seeing results in a few DAYS. Perhaps I am a medical outlier because the effect was immediate. I have not experienced side effects to my knowledge; Multiple Sclerosis causes many of the side effects of Myrbetriq as does other medicines I take. Currently taking physical therapy for MS symptoms and will start pelvic floor therapy. Time will tell if my body response remains on the positive side."

"I am 44 and suffer from constant waking at night to urinate and have to push down to get all the urine out. I am constantly in the bathroom during the day. Urologist wasn't sure what was going on after the cystocopy, just that I have a small bladder. He gave me 3 weeks of samples and I'm into the 2nd week. I read it takes several weeks to see effects so not sure when it will help because it hasn't yet. I suffer with migraines and I have been getting mild headaches most every day. I am at the point where I want to self cath before bed to get all the urine out and avoid frequent waking. I'm gonna finish up the week and a half I have left, but so far no results. If the headaches continue, I will not be filling a prescription. I am at the point that I would rather self cath before bed and drink less water during the day. I will rate again at 3 weeks."

"Prescribed by urologist; wow the price, so I didn't even start; no coverage by Medicare; co-pay astronomical; should have a generic, but manufacturers are too happy with the big profits from having only Brand name; millions of people who need a good med for OAB, and not much to be found for the average person that they can afford."

"Quite Simply: life changing. I really mean it was life changing, as in it changed my every day activities tremendously. Before Myrbetriq I had to think about what size and how many pads I would need for the day. I constantly had to calculate my liquids intake and access to bathrooms. In addition to peeing very frequently (3 times a night), I also would not be able to hold my urine when I arrived home or was close to sitting on a toilet. I thought I would just have to live with this the rest of my life. Now, it's as if I were a kid again -- just going about my business and not thinking about when and where the bathrooms are and sleeping a full night. I take 25mg/ night and don't think I have side effects. Sometimes I have dry mouth which could be a side effect, but it isn't bad. Ironically I drink liquids so much more now to combat it and I don't worry about leakage or where the next bathroom is. THANK YOU inventors of Mybetriq!!! Thanks you!"

"I have been taking Myrbetriq (25 MG once a day) for 30 days along with Tamsulosin (0.4MG once a day). I have taken Tamsulosin for awhile and it was not working by itself. I have had no side effects with Myrbetriq that I know of, and my urinary continence issue has decreased about 50% which is a big difference. I still get the urge to go and have a difficult time stopping the flow, but it is getting better. Hopeful the next 30 days will show more improvement."

"I started taking Myrbetrix June 2022. It did work at stopping my leakage but I noticed my hair started falling out. Since June I’ve lost 50% of my hair. It’s horrible. I read other reviews saying their hair was falling out so I stopped it 2 weeks ago. My hair is not falling out everywhere anymore. The drug manufacturer does not state this as a potential side effect. Beware. If you’re losing your hair, it might be this drug."

"I have been using 25mg for a month now. It’s a miracle, no leaking, no need to get up at night to urinate, no constant urge to use the bathroom and no more bulky pads! The only downside is the $400 /month cost. I am so much happier now that I don’t feel I have to constantly pee all the time. Life changer."

"As an 84 year old woman I was having increasing problems with leakage, so my doctor put me on Vesicare. The symptoms of my incontinence still got worse over several years. I would get up many times in the night and often would wet my pad before I could get to the toilet, located only 12 feet from my bed! Sometimes the flood was so great it overflowed the pad. So my doctor started me on 25mg. Myrbetriq, at bedtime. Wow! I sleep well usually with only one trip to the toilet and I get there in plenty of time. (I do have some urgency on daytime mornings, but if I stop whatever I am doing IMMEDIATELY and head to the toilet I am able to get there with no leakage. (My doctor said I could try taking another Myrbetriq in the morning but I am reluctant to do add more medicines unless the situation becomes intolerable, altho I don't notice side effects ) We have an excellent prescription plan so the copay is tolerable for me."

"50 mg extended release. Prescribed by my urologist for urge incontinence. Cannot use older, cheaper drugs now on the market because of medical contraindications in my case. Myrbetriq is ludicrously expensive and would cost me $500 a month. My doctor has fortunately been great about giving me samples that I have been using for a couple of months now. It has definitely reduced my urge incontinence, but unfortunately not eliminated it. No side effects… yet. But because of the crazy cost (and now, the possible side effects I’m reading about here), I’m going to stop taking it. I would rather not take medication anyway, so I’m getting bladder Botox injections next month. Those only have to be done twice a year. Still, I’m glad I tried Myrbetriq."

"Excellent remedy. Have taken Myrbetriq every morning for several years. A sample is not enough to start working, but I was thrilled with it quite quickly when prescribed it by an excellent specialist. I react adversely to things easily, but this is excellent. My insurance switched me to generic Mirabegron recently, which I am not so sure about, but I’m also drinking more water and having Semaglutide weight loss shots, which might make a difference. Getting extra weight off can’t hurt."

"This medicine was a savor. I was up 3-5 times a night and pee every 2 hours during day. It was awful. Sometimes I would go, sometimes not. I needed rest. Finally, a nurse suggested it and I have so much more control of peeing. Very few leaks and I can hold pee for up to 4 hours. I'm a teacher with no time for getting out of the room. I recommend this for pee control 10 percent"

"Myrbetriq is working very well for me. After one pill, I thought I felt a little relief. The second pill provided a bit more relief. I take one pill a day, and I haven't had any accidents. It's working very well for me without any side effects at all."
