For Seizures "My nurse practitioner gave me this for cluster seizures. I started having them with my regular meds not working. The two times I have used this, it stopped within minutes. Downside, it made me dry heave and throw up."

For Seizures "My daughter had epilepsy and began using this spray a few months ago whenever she feels a seizure coming. So far, she has used it 4 times, and it has prevented a seizure each time. She also takes 600 mg Lamictal. In her epilepsy support group, many members shared that they use this spray for the same reason. The spray allowed her to stop a second drug that was affecting her cognition."

For Seizures "Been having multiple types of uncontrolled seizures (grand mals, simple partial seizures). I’m on a mixture of 21 pills a day. This inhaler has really helped me feel more comfortable without having a friend or family member (when at work or out by myself). I’ve had to use it twice, and honestly the first time I don’t remember, my folks just told me my seizures stopped immediately and I started acting normal, but don’t recall any of that. I just know I went to sleep. My second experience, I felt an aura at work and administered it to myself and I never went into a grand mal or stiffened up like a board like normal. I told a coworker to call my mom. I was told that afterward I started acting normal, but once again, I don’t remember a single thing other than the runny nose. I’m really happy this medicine exists because it's really helped the two times I’ve had to use it."

For Seizures "'Out of the three I've been prescribed in the past 20 years or so, this has turned out to be the best emergency anticonvulsant I've been prescribed so far. Sublingual Ativan (Lorazepam) was okay, I suppose, but to be honest, I probably needed a tranquilizer before I used that tranquilizer since I was always afraid that I'd bite my finger off, if not someone else's, since it had to be put under my tongue. And it was too weak for me. Rectal Diastat (Diazepam) was... well, not fun. More fun than waking up in the hospital, but still. However, this Nayzilam (Midazolam) is perfect! It fits in my pocket (until the packaging falls apart, which is actually a good thing since that means I haven't needed it for a while), I won't bite any fingers off, and I (or God forbid anyone else) don't have to 'inject' myself with anything. Anywhere! The only downside I've had is that it KINDA burns my nose. A LITTLE. Other than that, I couldn't dream of a better product. Thank you, Nayzilam!'"

For Seizures "It does bring immediate relief. I have been using it about once to twice a month. I think after a year I may need to up the dosage. The major side effects that I dislike are excessive salivation, and the taste is horrific. But the med definitely serves its purpose."

For Seizures "Works quickly. My nose does burn when administered. My throat does feel irritated and has a bad taste in my mouth after use. All are better than having a seizure. I don't anticipate doing anything other than laying down afterwards and probably napping after taking it."
