"I have been taking this medicine, Levothyroxine, for a while, and I feel terrible. I’ve put on so much weight, my muscles hurt, where I can hardly get out of bed, have trouble sleeping, headaches. When medicine makes you feel worse than you did before, I wonder why doctors put you on this stuff."

Levothyroxine for Underactive Thyroid "I don't feel it does anything. I have more headaches and insomnia. So I am telling my primary I am stopping it. If she doesn't agree, I am stopping regardless."

For Underactive Thyroid "I've been taking levothyroxine for four months, and it has helped, albeit with some negative side effects. However, the side effects last for no longer than four hours after ingestion, while the tremors I was experiencing previously lasted all day... seriously, I refused to write in front of coworkers because my tremors were very apparent while using fine motor skills. I do experience side effects such as lack of appetite, nausea, rapid heartbeat, headache, and occasionally tremors, but I'll take four hours of those side effects over tremors 24/7 anytime."
