For Underactive Thyroid "After experiencing horrific side effects from recalled NP thyroid, given mistakenly Nature Thyroid, Synthroid, and regular pill Tirosint. My endo figured Tirosint SOL might work for me. The whole 'less ingredients' sold me. I pushed through a total of 5 weeks with major heart palpitations, heat intolerance, left arm electrical-like pains, and increased anxiety attacks. I am now on antidepressants because of this. Finally, I put my foot down and decided that while this might be great for a big percentage, it just wasn't for me. Got back on Armour, we shall see how I do."

For Hashimoto's disease "Tirosint-SOL literally saved my life. I am very chemically sensitive and have tried every medication for my thyroid that is available. I would have horrible reactions with pain throughout my body upon taking any tablets or capsules for my hypothyroidism. My TSH would be off the charts, as high as 100, as I was deathly sick. Even the Tirosint gelcap made me ill. As a last resort, my doctor wanted to try the liquid Tirosint. For the first time in 30 years, my level was normal. I am deeply frightened now that it is not available due to a recall. I pray it will come back on the market."

For Underactive Thyroid "I read about Tirosint and had so much hope because it doesn't contain the harmful fillers that other thyroid medications have. I also was told this would absorb much better. I have now been on it for 6 months, and I am switching back to Synthroid. Despite my dosage being bumped up 3 different times, I have been hypothyroid the entire 6 months. It could never get my TSH below 8. I feel terrible, and I gained 25 pounds even though I have a small frame and don't usually suffer from weight gain. Really wish this stuff worked. If this stuff works for you, keep taking it, because the ingredients are better. I have severe hypothyroidism (my TSH goes up to 400 if I'm not medicated), so I think that's why it didn't work in my case."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I have been on Tirosint-Sol (liquid, not the pill form) for about a year. This medicine has improved the way I feel tremendously! I took Synthroid for years and never felt good on it. I initially started on a lower dose of Tirosint-Sol than my Synthroid but am now up to the same dose. I love that it is not full of fillers. I am so glad that I discovered this medication."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I had been on levelthyroxine 112 mg since having my thyroid removed I'm 2007. No idea what happened but levelthyroxine suddenly stopped working. On 88mg of Tirosit Sol and I feel great! Unfortunately, I think I'm having a allergic reaction.. om it for two weeks and I wake up every day with swollen eyes, rash all over my face, itchy neck and chest and can't sleep up every night at 3:30. So upset that I found something that actually works but it doesn't agree with me."

For Underactive Thyroid "How long am I going to lose my hair? I bought the brand, not generic. It’s not supposed to cause hair loss. I am on 50 mcg. Help!!"

For Hashimoto's disease "Tirosint Sol has given a consistency in efficacy. Other 'natural' brands were always being recalled for either too little or too much thyroid. I kept having issues of heart palpitations when the other brands I was taking had too much thyroid, and other times I would be sluggish and have brain fog when there was too little. A month or two later, after the fact, I would get a notice that the batch of thyroid NP or Armor Thyroid was being recalled. It was a roller coaster. So with the Tirosint Sol, it has given me consistency, and the solution I feel is more quickly absorbed. I wish they would come out with something similar to a glucose monitor for thyroid levels so that one could monitor their thyroid hormone levels throughout the day."
