Levomilnacipran for Major Depressive Disorder "I'm on lamotrigine, and as unsure as it could be, my own reaction. I suffered horrible symptoms for 3 weeks - migraines that lasted for literally 2 weeks straight - eye pain (I do have glaucoma) - upset stomach - once vomited - after coming off, severe violent mood swings leading to outbursts - neck pain, back pain, which on week 4 has not gone away yet - muscle pain - muscle flinching as if my brain was giving shock through my body - severe confusion to the point I couldn't tell what happened and didn't really happen - weakness to the point I could hardly get up - severe chest pain - always out of breath - sore nose as if stinging - blurry eyes - watery and burning eyes - broken sleep - thoughts of losing sanity - weight gain - out of control hunger - chills - sweats - shaking - shivering - difficulty warming up. This was only 2 weeks, by week 4, I'm only now starting to feel better."

Levomilnacipran for Major Depressive Disorder "I'm not sure about Fetzima's effectiveness, as I'm on day four of treatment. As for side effects, I noticed that I started sweating more on day 3 (40 mg), a lack of appetite, and some minor nausea. Occasionally, I'll get anxious, but I'm not sure if it's specific to the Fetzima or my general anxiety."

Levomilnacipran for Depression "I've taken several different SSRIs and SNRIs. This medication is the worst I have ever taken. It makes me feel worse than I felt before I started taking anything at all - sweating, hot flashes, my mouth constantly tastes like I drank salt water, constipation, bloated, nausea, exhausted. You name it. EXTREME RAGE! Stay away from this med. It's a scary thing."

For Depression "Scariest thing I have ever taken. I have taken SSRIs before and didn't have a problem... I actually weaned off an old one and wanted to be clean from them. My significant other said I stress a lot and got me into trying others. I tried citalopram, but it made me sick, so then I got this. I have been having random panic attacks to the point of where I feel I will pass out, one of which I went to the ER because it went on for 2 hours. During these attacks, I get crazy cold sweats, dizzy, dry mouth, feeling that I can't breathe, heavy fever, and feel I'm about to pass out. I also cannot sleep because I am jittery and fear another attack. I hope it is the pills, so I am currently weaning off of them with drugs to calm me down if I get them."

For Major Depressive Disorder "I started on Brintellix, titrating up to 20 mg, which worked but made me feel removed and outside of the world. My insurance decided to stop covering it, and so we decided to jump medications. I started Fetzima 80 mg, the equivalent to the Brintellix 20 mg. I cannot really comment on the side effects as I'm withdrawing from the Brintellix. I have excessive sweating, but I'm not sure if it's withdrawal or side effects. I'll update in a few weeks. I can say that I feel more energized and happy. My anxiety is gone, and I'm hoping in a few weeks I will have adjusted."

For Depression "Wow. Doc says try this, it's new. Today-Sunday. Started 20 mg Thursday, that afternoon, experienced tingling in my mouth and tongue. Thought it was my Mexican lunch, paid it no mind. That night, woke up several times dripping in sweat, showered at 1:30 am and again at 4 am. Miserable. Thought, OK, gotta adjust... Took 20 mg again Friday am. My day was horrible. Hot and cold sweats, heart racing. Called out of work. Again, real bad night. Saturday took 40 mg at 11 am. The tingling and sweats were severe. Went to the ER, doc said go home and stop taking meds. Huh? All day I felt nervousness. I was freaking out. Never in my life had a reaction to anything. Bad night again. Sunday AM, wake up, no meds. Tingling has subsided a bit, very nervous though, so called my doc. Waiting 2 hrs now."

For Major Depressive Disorder "Was on Fetzima for a week and got serotonin syndrome. This is my 5th day off of the med and I am still nauseous, hot, red hot flushed face and chest, body aches and pain. Sweating, chills, goosebumps, constant headache, etc. Ugh, hope it goes away soon. This sucks!!!"

For Depression "I have been taking Fetzima for 2 weeks. Headache is my major side effect. I am not used to having headaches, and it makes me feel foggy. I do sweat more than usual when I am hot. Positives: decreased appetite, weight loss. This drug is not as effective for anxiety as Paxil, but I gained 20 pounds in 3 months on Paxil."

Levomilnacipran for Depression "I didn't feel this drug did much of anything to lessen my depression. It did give me night and day sweats, dry mouth, and a foggy mental state that often made clear thinking more difficult."
