For High Blood Pressure "I have been on and off blood pressure meds for a while now. All have side effects, some worse than others. Joint muscle pain, always tired, weird dreams, on and on. If anyone has a good one, put the name out there."

For High Blood Pressure "I have been on irbesartan 150 mg for 6 months now, and it is not helping. One day my pressure is 115/85, then goes up to 130/90. I have bad ringing in my ears (but I have learned from reading that the noise is really in your head). I am also tired during the day. Some nights I sleep 8 hours, and then some nights sleep 4 hours. This drug is not helping me at all."

For High Blood Pressure "I've been on 150 mg for about 6 or 7 months. My BP for the past ten days has been all over the place. It seems like for the past couple of days that about 20 minutes after I take my dose my blood pressure goes up over 160 and up. Tonight I checked it and it read 195 over 86. I have no energy most days. The only thing I can say good about this med is that prior to taking it I was having a sleep disorder that since being on this has not occurred. I don't know if it's because this med makes me sleepy or if it's because my previous med caused the disorder. I will be seeing a cardiologist soon and will be discussing other possible medications."

For High Blood Pressure "Irbesartan lowers the blood pressure pretty well but gives me heart palpitations along with body tremors and makes me tired. I also noticed my vision being blurry. I'm trying to give the medicine a chance, but if the side effects don't go away soon, I will not be taking this medicine any longer."
