For Hepatitis C "I'm on day five of treatment. For the first two days, I had a headache, but not anymore. I am very fatigued, though. Looking forward to my end results!!! Was told not to take my Nexium while on Mavyret, so I'm having bad stomach issues."

For Hepatitis C "It all started with a strange feeling in the stomach area, nausea but no vomiting, then continued anxiety-like depressive symptoms in parallel, a rash on the inside of the hand, and constant cracking of the lips and even bleeding, and finally fatigue, lethargy, and absolute lack of strength. I have not had an appetite for 4 years and lost about 10 kg, from 68 kg to 58 kg. ALT and AST liver enzyme indicators were raised, so hepatitis tests were done, and the diagnosis was hepatitis C 1GEN. I got Mavyret for 8 weeks of treatment, which is financed in the EU. The strangest thing is that doctors deny my side effect symptoms. I decided to take the medicine in the evening with dinner, it is very important to drink plenty of water throughout the day, eat healthy, and avoid alcohol. I hardly felt any side effects except weakness, diarrhea, and nausea. It is now 4 months after treatment, I am still being treated for liver fibrosis F2 and often have diarrhea. I hope it will pass, and I feel so good. Therefore, the disease is not as innocent as the doctor."

"I'm a 22-year-old ex-IV drug user. I found out I had Hep C about 2 years ago when I got clean. I was undetectable at my 4-week blood draw, and I just finished my last dose of my 8-week cycle on June 7th. I had a little foggy brain and fatigue my first couple of days taking it, and that was it, nothing to miss work over. My worst side effect was just having to go to the bathroom more often. Since stopping Mavyret, I've had an upset stomach a couple of times, and I'm breaking out all of a sudden (I never really get pimples). I'm just going to assume it's the drug working its way out of my body. Overall, seems to be a great drug, well worth the little side effects I endured! (P.S. Take at night with a snack right before bed.)"

For Hepatitis C "I’m 30, I’ve been living with hepatitis C since 2012, and it’s currently 2021. I have genotype C3, and I’ve been waiting for this drug for years now. I was scared to start because I’m very afraid of new medications, but thankfully this drug has been just fine. I have a slight allergy to it, but nothing I can’t manage. I take it at night with food and water. I have some fatigue, but I can still work my corporate job. The first day, I had diarrhea, but it’s gone. I’ve been breaking out, but that could be hormonal. Overall, I don’t even know I’m taking anything, it doesn’t really make itself known. I’m on week 2, nearing week three. I’m really hoping the blood tests are clear!"

For Hepatitis C "So I started Mavyret 2 days ago, and so far my symptoms have been headache, fatigue, slight confusion, and dizziness. But other than that, it's going okay so far. I'm the type of person that my stomach gets upset very easily if I don't eat or if I work too hard. I need to eat more often, so I'm really hoping that this stuff doesn't mess with my stomach. So far, I haven't been nauseous, and I really hope that I don't get nauseous. But I will come back in 8 weeks when I complete and give an update. Anything is possible, you just got to keep trying."

For Hepatitis C "On day 36. Real fatigue and dehydrated. Bones and muscles hurt all over my body. My energy is coming back, but cardio is horrible. Very depressed, even deleted Twitter and Facebook. I'm laying down at least 20 hours a day right now. I have no appetite, so I forget to eat sometimes, but once I eat, I overeat lol. Overall, I do feel like I'm cured. I have had hep C 16 years, I'm 34 years old. If I'm cured, I highly recommend this pill, if I'm not, no, it's not worth taking. You literally feel so, so sick. So, if I'm cured, I rate a 10. If I'm not cured, I rate negative 10."

For Hepatitis C "I have hepatitis C, gen. 3. I am a 31-year-old female. I found out I had Hep C when I was pregnant. I had my baby 10 weeks ago, the baby is healthy. I am on day 6 of Mavyret. I have experienced some pretty uncomfortable symptoms so far. Right after I take the Mavyret at night with a meal, I experience dry mouth, extreme fatigue, nausea. The next day I am very tired and have some stomach issues and am very tired. I know it’s worth it to keep going, so I will finish the medicine for the 8 weeks. I just hope there are no lasting ailments afterward."

For Hepatitis C "Before taking Mavyret, I was scared after reading the possible side effects. I am now into my second week, I have had a little fatigue and some diarrhea, but that seems to have gone. I took Imodium for the diarrhea, other than that, I am having little side effects."

For Hepatitis C "I had hep C for over 30 years. Started to really not feel well, and my Dr. said my hep C levels were so high he didn't know if I would respond to treatment. Now, after 8 weeks and having finished the treatment, oh, after 4 weeks had blood work and no hep C detected. I do feel a little better, and I did have fatigue, headache, and nausea. I actually only completed the treatment 2 days ago and am hoping to start feeling better like I did when the virus was dormant."

For Hepatitis C "I finished an 8-week treatment on 2/4. I was terrified before taking them, mainly due to a mistrust in medicine. The first 3 days were the worst of it. I experienced severe lower chest/upper abdominal pain. I thought I was having a heart attack or something. I was in the fetal position and hunched over in excruciating pain. I called the pharmacy and my doctor, and they felt strongly that it was severe heartburn. The only thing that seemed to keep the pain subsided was grazing every hour or two and staying hydrated. I also always took it with a big glass of milk and a savory meal. It took the first 3 days for me to figure it all out, but when I did, it was glorious! The rest was a breeze! I was less nauseated and fatigued while taking the medication than before I was taking it. The most difficult part for me, other than the first 3 days, was my fear/difficulty with medication and swallowing pills. I am excited to get my first blood test on Mondays!"

For Hepatitis C "So I just completed my Mavyret treatment, and the one thing I suggest is to take it at night before bed to avoid fatigue and brain fog. Always take it after a snack, and set a timer/reminder so you don't miss a dose. Will repost soon with my test results."

For Hepatitis C "I am on my last week of an 8-week run with this. The first 2-3 weeks, I had no signs really of taking it except maybe fatigue. Well, not maybe, definitely fatigue, lol. That was all, and I got cocky...too cocky. The rest of this time, weeks 5-7, right now are the worst times of my life. I cannot do anything 'cause I get sick as F outta nowhere for hours on end, ranging from 1 to 6 hours of nonstop puking and dry heaving. I'm praying this stops by the end of the course coming up now, but so far nothing. (Currently puking for the last 1.5 hours is how I found this page at all, looking for help, answers, or relatability) and Zofran does not touch the puking either. This glorious toilet-hugging night of April 11, 2025, at 12:22 am Eastern time."
