For COPD "I was put on Trelegy from Spiriva. I can honestly say my breathing is better by about 90%. My wheezing and whistling have gone, and the mucus is nearly non-existent now. The only drawback is my throat feels raw for about half an hour after using the inhaler, plus I get a cough straight after. All in all, I am really happy with it!"

For COPD "The doctor gave me a sample of this on Wednesday. I used it once in his office. An hour later, the headache started, then the pain all over my body and a bad cough. After that, the chills started, and for the next 2 days, I was too weak and sleepy to get out of bed. The symptoms are slowly getting better, and I am still feeling them today. It's Saturday, hopefully, it will completely go away soon. The first 36 hours after using it, I wasn't sure if I would live or die. Only used it the one time."

For Asthma "Got a 6-week sample of Trelegy. I have been using just a rescue inhaler. Occasionally, they would not be effective, and I would need to go to the hospital. Steroids generally just cleared it up. Other than that, decent functionality for an asthmatic. At first, it seemed like nights weren't as bad; they had been the worst before. This still seems to basically be true; however, now my nose gets completely stopped up at night, an inconvenience, but not the end of the world. The real issue is all of the phlegm, and the constantly being out of breath. Before, I was able to work all day and maybe need a puff or two from the rescue. Now, I can't even walk 100 yards, and I am literally producing cups of phlegm a day and coughing a lot. At this point, I think I am going to discontinue use. I started slowly putting off when I take it, and it seems like I am doing better before I take the medication. Then, within 30 minutes, I'm having breathing issues."

"DO NOT TAKE TRELEGY! I was having residual coughing from COVID for over 4 months, and Albuterol was not working, so my doctor gave me a 2-week sample of Trelegy. After just two days, I ended up in the ER, almost dying from pneumonia-like symptoms. This caused my eyes and cheeks to swell, blurry vision, extreme headache, constant coughing, and the worst back pain I have ever had. I pray that someone reading this hasn’t tried this horrible drug yet, because if you do, you could end up dead. I do not know how this is on the market. I pray these residual effects from this medication leave my body, and then I’m not stuck with this for life over two puffs. You have been warned."

For COPD "I posted on here originally on March 1st, today is the tenth, and I have stopped using Trelegy and went back on my old inhalers. On Trelegy, I had a heaviness in trying to breathe, and developed a soft but nagging cough... I wish it would have worked, much easier to manage than 3 inhalers......"

For COPD "After taking Trelegy for two weeks, there was no noticeable improvement in breathing. After week three, I woke up with a very sore throat, hard to breathe, could not talk, I had lost my voice, totally got into a fit of coughing so bad I thought I was going to hurt myself, as I was throwing up and couldn't clear my throat. I almost called for an ambulance to go to the ER. Very bad experience, will never take again and do not recommend!!"

For COPD "I have been on Trelegy almost 3 months. I am so achy, tired, and just worn out. Not to mention the cough. I will be calling my doctor to discontinue. I gave it a good try. I can’t say it was any better than Advair and Tudorza, as my breathing is the same. I will go back to twice-a-day inhalers if need be. With the copay from the manufacturer, I had zero cost to me."

For COPD "I am having a hard time using this inhaler due to the powder being so concentrated. It makes me cough every time I begin to inhale it. I wonder how effective it is if I am unable to breathe it all the way in. I have switched back to Breo because it does not make me cough when inhaling the medication."

For COPD "I initially coughed for the first hour, then the following day, half of my head hurt to the touch, it felt like it was sunburned. That lasted a week. Then I had increased mucus that woke me up at night, as I was choking on it. I had pains in my hips and joints, and the pain moved down my legs as I lifted them to lay on a couch. I could no longer lift my arms above my head without them being in pain at the muscle, which felt as if it went down to the bone. A sore throat and headaches. Other than those side effects, my breathing did improve, but not enough to warrant putting up with the side effects. I lasted 3 months, then gave it up. The doctor then tried me on Trimbow, that lasted 3 days when I ended up with vertigo. I'm now back on Seebri and Fostair."

"Trelegy is much too strong for me, it hurts my lungs when I breathe it in. After using it for months, I felt worse. Much more thick mucus, terrible cough, and although it did help a little with the SOB, I felt worse. I stopped taking it altogether, and I swear, I never felt better. No more phlegm, no cough. I know that it irritated my lungs so bad, and that is why the cough and the increased phlegm. It was my second attempt (7 months apart) that I tried Trelegy with the same results, never again!!!!"

For COPD "Since I have used Trelegy, my condition has become much worse. I was sent by the doctor's office to the ER by ambulance. I had horrific chest and back pain, as well as more coughing and phlegm. I have no energy at all. I took my last dose of this today."

For COPD "A wonder drug, it controls my chronic asthma magnificently. The asthma cough it does not. I still have that old dry cough. It might be an allergy. When you use it, be sure to rinse your mouth with water. When I first took Trelegy, the cough stopped from the shock of new medication but returned a month later. But my breathing is awesome."

For COPD "Trelegy is a game changer. After 6 years of undiagnosable breathing issues with excessive mucus and a recent double whammy of bronchitis with pneumonia, a second CT scan revealed COPD. The pulmonologist gave me a sample of Trelegy 200, and it changed my life. The mucus is still present but nowhere near the amount prior. I can breathe better, but deep breaths will elicit a cough with mucus. I have a headache and sore throat in the mornings, but that is a small price compared to not being able to breathe and being congested. I use the Trelegy 100 now, and it works just as well. I am 58, looks like no more long runs are in my future, but I can walk 2.5 miles most mornings, and that is a start."
