For Birth Control "This is the first and only birth control pill I have ever been on. I have been on it for 4 years. I have no issues with it. The first three months, I had the usual side effects while my body became accustomed to it. Now I am fine. My periods are the same flow but shorter. I used to be 7 days, now I am 5. I always know when I get my period. 4 days into the white pill, I get it. Once in a while, I get sore breasts, but other than that, no real side effects. I get some cramps before and during my period. I like that it’s only 9 dollars in Walmart without insurance. I don’t have any mood swings or any other crazy side effects. Overall, I do recommend it for people who want to be on birth control with periods. Makes you feel normal. It has worked flawlessly for me, and I have a lot of sex with my boyfriend. I take it regularly, although I’ve had days I forgot to take a pill, so when I remembered, I took it. Overall, I would recommend."

For Birth Control "I have been on Tri-Sprintec for almost 2 years now, and it works super well for contraception, but the first few months of taking it, I had the worst stomach aches ever! My boobs are always sore too. I’m always gassy and moody as well. I have light spotting, and sometimes it even lasts 2 months. I don’t have headaches, but it definitely worsened my cramps and made my period heavier (it is already heavy). It makes me so irritated all of the time, the side effects suck, omg. But if it didn’t have the side effects, it would be a great product."

For Birth Control "I'm new to the whole birth control thing. My first try was Seasonique, it was perfect until I got migraines out of this world after two months of taking it. I told my doctor, and she told me to give Tri-Sprintec a try. On this pill, you absolutely must eat before you take it, with Seasonique, I wasn't used to that, so I had to get into the habit of eating in the morning before I take my pills. Other than nausea and vomiting when I first started, I have no complaints. There are occasional cramps and sore breasts, but that wasn't really a bother to me."

For Birth Control "It's effective when used correctly. During the first two months, I experienced headaches and slight hair loss around my hairline. I used to go around 40 days between periods, and they lasted 8 or 9 days. I now have 'normal' or predictable periods. My breasts are always tender during the third week, but I've grown at least a cup size, so I'm OK with that. Most importantly, I'm not pregnant."

For Birth Control "I am completely satisfied with Tri-Sprintec. I read many reviews that scared me, but I tried anyway. I haven't experienced any side effects other than sore breasts. My advice to anyone looking for information on this birth control is to try it for yourself to see how your body responds. Very happy."

For Acne "I've been on this pill for 9 days and gained 6 lbs. Breast tenderness, low libido, apathy, irritability, aggression, exhaustion, and clumsiness. I'll try it for the month and hope the side effects go away."

For Birth Control "I am 19 years old and have been taking Tri-Sprintec for about 1.5 years. Haven't gotten pregnant thus far. So I'd say it's working wonders! I know that on my last week on my birth control, my period will come on a Tuesday to Wednesday. It is so nice to know that I don't have to worry about when my period will come. I didn't have any complications my first few months taking it. Have never had weight gain. A week before my period, I do develop breast tenderness. About the only downside to it."

For Birth Control "This is my first time on birth control, and I was a little iffy to start with, seeing all the side effects everyone's been having. Surprisingly, though, it's been all pros so far and very few cons. I'm just about to finish up my first month, and so far I've had no noticeable mood changes or weight gain. I do not have the urge to eat a whole lot like some have been complaining. My breasts are slightly tender, though - I'm not sure if this is due to them swelling/growing or what. I had very minor spotting at the start, but other than that it's been great!"

For Birth Control "I've been on this medication since I was 17. I'm now 25, so roughly 8 years. I was off of it for a few months also. I've never been pregnant or gained weight. They do cause sore breasts, but it eventually goes away. Only take as prescribed. I missed a few days once and took the pills all at one time. I did have pain and bleeding. But if taken regularly and correctly, I've had a positive experience."

For Acne "I'm 18 and have had pretty awful acne since I was 12. My doctor prescribed Tri-Sprintec mainly for the acne, but also for period regulation and birth control. In the 2 weeks I've been taking it, I haven't experienced any of the mood swings or breast tenderness/growth that others have. I've gained a few pounds, but I'm home from college and so eating poorly and not exercising, so I can't really blame that on the birth control. My acne has gotten 10 times worse since starting, with lots of breakouts on my forehead, chin, and around my mouth, which used to be completely clear. As frustrating as it is, I'll stick with it for a few months and hope that my body adjusts and the acne clears up!"

For Birth Control "I just started using this birth control. I'm still on my first pack. I've been moody and I have a little acne problem, but reading these reviews has helped me know that maybe it'll go away. My breasts have been somewhat tender, but are improving now. I haven't experienced much weight gain. And the first two weeks, I felt sick, but never actually vomited. I have been more tired than normal also. But overall, it's a nice pill, small and convenient. Thanks for the other reviews! It's reassuring!"

For Birth Control "I took this pill for several months and finally got a hold of my doctor's office to switch to something different. I had been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and had no issues, but had to switch to something less expensive. Although my breasts grew about halfway into my cycle, they were so sensitive I could hardly stand it. I had horrible mood swings and would just feel like I could break down crying at any particular moment. Good at pregnancy prevention, but not sure all the nasty side effects that come along with it make it worth it."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for about 3 months now, and I haven't had any real problems with it at all. Just some breast tenderness right before my period and cravings every now and then. I used to be on Loestrin 24 Fe, and I had the worst side effects with it. I had severe mood swings and depression, which lasted for the entire 4 months I was on it. After getting off Loestrin, I went on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and didn't have any problems with it, but switched to Tri-Sprintec because it's cheaper. I was afraid that I might have the same negative side effects with Tri-Sprintec that I had with Loestrin, but I haven't, and that's just awesome to me! It's best to not judge a pill within the first week of taking it. It takes a few months to adjust."

For Birth Control "This is the first birth control I've ever been on. I am currently near the end of my third week. I was hesitant to try it because of the reviews. However, the only side effects I have noticed (so far) the first week I got a small breakout on my face that cleared up within two days. My breasts have gotten a bit larger and this week (3rd) I have some mild breast tenderness. That's about it. No weight gain yet, no moodiness, didn't seem to affect my libido. But it's only the first month, so we'll see if anything changes. Seems good though."

For Acne "I'm 15, and I started taking Tri-Sprintec about 8 days ago to help with my acne and horrible periods. I have been reading all of the reviews, and so far, I don't think it is as bad. Yes, I have breast tenderness, nausea, and intense stomach pains, but it's nothing I can't handle. Others say those symptoms go away after a few packets, and I'm willing to go through with it."

For Acne "I have been taking Tri-Sprintec for over 4 years for my acne and protection against pregnancy, and I would have to say it really helped my acne calm down! Like I used to have horrible cystic acne, and it helped it so much. Also, it does its job, it prevents pregnancy (if used correctly). Some cons would have to be that I experience breast tenderness and occasional cramping, but it isn't horrible. Remember that everyone's body reacts differently."

For Birth Control "This is my first time using this drug, the pharmacy switched me to this since, and then I've experienced cramps, eating more, my breasts are sore, but the good part is I've gone up a cup size. I hope it does its job."

For Birth Control "Honestly, I've tried MANY different birth controls that had bad side effects for me, such as depression, suicidal thoughts, breakthrough bleeding, longer periods... but this one has been the ONLY birth control that I've had little to no symptoms with. The only difference is I really didn't experience breast tenderness with my other birth controls, but with this one, my breasts are tender, and also I'm not quite sure when I'm supposed to start my period; I'm on my third inactive pill and haven't gotten it yet. With other birth controls, I usually start within the first pill of the inactive or the last active pill. Birth control AFFECTS every woman differently; it's never the same for each person."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for 3 years, and I don't have any complaints. I can predict when my period is going to come almost up to the hour, so it's very nice knowing exactly when I'm going to start. Also, my periods are much shorter (4-5 days) and lighter (I only need a regular absorbency tampon on my heaviest day). I virtually have no cramps and slight breast tenderness each month. Most importantly, I've never gotten pregnant, and I've been sexually active the whole time I've been taking this pill."

For Birth Control "I started taking this since I was 17, 19 now. Works great, but definitely gained weight. I gained about 30 pounds while on it. My boobs went from a B to a C, and usually they get tender the week before I start my period. My period lasts about 4 days with light bleeding. Never had an issue with headaches or severe cramps. I took this pill every morning, but if you take it without breakfast, you tend to feel a little nauseous."

For Acne "I've been on this pill for 3 months and 5 days, and I want to die. My moderate acne has gotten worse. So bad that I get big cystic pimples all over. I also have a bunch of whiteheads, and my forehead is bumpy. My anger is out the roof, and the first 2 months my boobs felt like they were going to fall off. I'm willing to stick it out to the 5th month, but if not, I will be getting off this pill."

For Birth Control "I love the pill. My period is on the exact date of the sugar pills, but my breasts are always so sore! That's the only side effect I've had, along with some blood clots here and there, but I highly recommend."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for just over 2 weeks now, and I've only experienced some side effects. The little acne I did have has been reduced, and in the first week, I experienced slight breast tenderness for like 2 or 3 days, but it wasn't bad at all. Now that I think about it, I have become a little more sensitive to certain things my boyfriend says, but nothing major that's messing up our relationship or anything. Or it might be caused by his innocent teasing getting to me after a while. But I think this birth control pill is very good for me, and I hope you all have a positive experience with this like I do."

For Birth Control "I took this medication for 5 months. I started off the first couple of months with lots of nausea, and my breasts were constantly sore. I decided to wait it out, but today I had to call my doctor to get it switched. While on this medication, my breasts were constantly tender and very painful. I also felt nauseous a lot, and on the first day of my last period, I had to miss school because of it. My PMS symptoms seemed worse. It did work to prevent pregnancy because my sex drive is non-existent. I also experienced dryness, which I have never had a problem with. Other than the breast soreness and nausea, I didn't gain any weight or have any other issues."
