For Birth Control "I'm so happy I found this because it makes so much sense now. I've taken a couple of different brand birth controls since I was 18. I am now 26 and started Estarylla this year when my insurance changed. I used to think I'm just moodier (if that's a word) because of all sorts of reasons. However, after reading these reviews, I now know it could be from these pills. My boyfriend has been telling me all along it's the pills, but I didn't believe him. I would definitely change from this current bc because it's not what I expected. I also have breakthrough bleeding with this and heavier/longer periods."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I'm fairly new to this pill. I have had very heavy, painful periods for the past few months, so my doctor prescribed me this. I'm only in my first week, but very hesitant on staying with it. I started the day of my period. I've had little cramps and light bleeding, so that's great and all, but for the past four days, I've had the most annoying headache. Not sure if this pain in my head is worth being cramp-free."

For Birth Control "I was on Tri-Previfem for years with no problems: I had flawless skin, light periods, no weight gain. My pharmacy randomly switched me to Estarylla, and it’s been THE WORST. I now have the most painful cystic acne, and every pore on my face is visible! I’ve had random bleeding, embarrassingly strong and weird odor, bad nausea/vomiting, and abnormal food cravings too. I’ve thought I was pregnant so many times on this because of these side effects. I am extremely anxious all the time and paranoid on top of it all. For those still considering it: IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK!! I have more left of this pack, but I’m throwing it out, I can’t take it anymore! I’d rather prevent pregnancy by being abstinent than to keep suffering on Estarylla."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking Estarylla three months ago because I needed to take a birth control with a higher estrogen dose in hopes of getting rid of my ectropion cervix. The first month I was on Estarylla, I was very nauseous all the time, and I bled for about a month straight. My period normalized after that, but my periods during the placebo week were extremely heavy, and I was bleeding through ultra tampons. I am now on my third month, and I am experiencing breakthrough bleeding all the time. The only positive about this birth control is that it cleared my skin."

For Birth Control "My girlfriend just got done with her first week, and she has had to take 2 days off of school so far because her cramps are so severe. Not to mention, the highly abnormal bleeding leaves her woozy and without strength. I absolutely do not recommend it at all! I implore you to look at other options and to tell your doctor no if he mentions this brand whatsoever."

For Birth Control "Omg, horrible. I have been getting breakthrough bleeding, and here I am today on my second week, and I am spotting. Not only that, but I can cry on a dime, and it is so annoying. I called my doctor today, and they're switching me to Ortho Tri-Cyclen."

For Birth Control "My pharmacy switched me to Estarylla from Mononessa. On the first pack of pills, I had breakthrough bleeding for 2 weeks. I’ve never had that before. During the second pack of pills, I woke up with terrible pain in my left ovary. Turns out I have a 5.5 cm (size of a racquetball) cyst. I have also never had a cyst. My OBGYN told me to stop taking this immediately and switched me to the non-generic."

For Birth Control "This is the first BC pill I've taken. My doctor put me on it after 8 weeks postpartum. I've always had very regular 5-day periods. Heavyish for 3 days, and very light for 2. I've been on this pill for almost 3 weeks now. I spotted for the first week and then stopped completely for a couple of days. It has now been 10 days straight of pretty heavy bleeding with no end in sight. I use a menstrual cup which I have to change more often than on my heaviest days of my normal period. I just called my doctor to ask to switch to a new medication, and the nurse told me it's just my period coming early and to finish out the pack of pills (3 active and 7 inactive 'period pills'). So I will probably bleed for another 10 days, if not longer. Awesome."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Started taking this on December 28th of 2016 or so... I was on my period for an entire month, and it was extremely heavy with blood clots, the BC cleared it up about 5 days later. For that, I love it. I had no side effects until my period started this week. I have very bad cramps, much like the ones I had when my period was more regular, and I've been passing large blood clots and have had heavy bleeding. To cut my period short, I'm starting my next pack. Honestly, a really cruddy week-long period is better than a pretty cruddy month-long period, so I'm happy."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Honestly, it did its job in regulating my period, but I was a completely different person. I had mood swings, slept for long hours during the day, and was always so drowsy. One of the good things was that it did help with my headaches as well. My acne also got way better, and I never had to worry about cramping and heavy bleeding when I was on my period. I think the hormones really affect one's mood and feelings. Like I said, I didn't like the fact that I slept so much and didn't feel like myself, but I appreciate the good things it did. Weight gain-wise, I'm not sure, I think my appetite got stronger and I gained a few pounds on my own, but I'm starting a new BC (Mili), and I hope the only side effect is mood changes!"

For Birth Control "First birth control I’ve taken. I read about some of the side effects beforehand and decided to go ahead with it because everyone’s body is different. (Still strongly believe this!) Within 24 hours, I had the worst lower back pain of my life that lasted for 5 days until I stopped taking the pill. I lost my appetite. I was experiencing period and stomach cramps like never before. My boobs hurt so bad and have stretch marks from how much they’ve grown in the last 4 days?? I’ve been constipated for 2 days. I lost about 5 lbs, then gained back 8. My emotions were clouded over, I felt numb. My sex drive was completely gone. The breakthrough bleeding wasn’t bad, though. And all this in the span of 5 days."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Been on Estarylla for about 3 weeks now. Been taking it consistently at the same time every day. Within the first week, I was randomly projectile vomiting without warning and breaking out really badly. Now, on week 3, those issues have resolved, my skin is actually really good, just seems very oily, but I’ve been breakthrough bleeding for 8 days. I don’t want to give up on the pill yet, but I don’t know how much longer I can handle bleeding like this. It’s also made me experience depression again, but no weight gain that I can tell. I’m very frustrated with the bleeding, but I’m going to keep taking the pill to see if it resolves."

For Birth Control "I was so nauseous at first, then it went to extreme mood swings and severe anger problems and extremely depressed. The nausea subsided. I have been bleeding for a max total of a month while on this, and it feels like it’s just horrible."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking Estarylla 3 weeks ago, and I instantly started bleeding and having cramps. I decided to wait a couple of weeks to see if it would go away, but it has only gotten worse. I bleed heavily and have cramps every single day, not to mention how irritable I’ve become. When I got prescribed Estarylla, my doctor didn’t even tell me the name of it before I picked it up. I went into it completely blindly. I was on birth control a couple of years ago, and nothing like this ever happened, and it even made my periods painless and less heavy. Please do your research and just get a better birth control."

For Birth Control "I was put on this pill after giving birth, and so far it has been the worst thing ever. It started off fine, and slowly it started to make me really sad every single day. Then it made me really angry, and it feels like there’s never a good day. It has caused migraines, nausea, abdominal pain, low sex drive, and bleeding for more than a month. It’s effective to prevent pregnancy, but I don’t recommend it for mental health."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "So far, I've been on this pill for about 2 months now. With that being said, I'm also a 'smoker.' On the label for its warnings, it specifically says do not take if you smoke. I called my doctor, and she said it will be fine. Well, now I've been bleeding longer than 2 weeks, so I'm going to finish out this week and see. Hope it will get better :) But please do your homework on this medicine, but also on any and all kinds."

For Birth Control "All I can say is these pills changed my mood so bad I go from angry to extremely angry then back to normal again. I had to stop taking these pills. They are great, but my hormones were out of this world! Like literally, I felt changes in my mood! From good to just going bad. Slight bleeding when my period came."
