For Birth Control "I have been taking Levora for the past 6 months or so. I LOVE IT. I have no severe side effects except tender breasts sometimes. Sex drive has also definitely increased. The only problem I have with Levora is that when its time to take the "reminder" pills it takes a few days to get my period....it always scares me....but so far, my period has always come. ALL IN ALL, I'M VERY HAPPY WITH LEVORA."

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for two months. The first couple days I couldn't stop crying...I am NOT the crying type of person, and I had constant mood swings. The following two months I gained a significant amount of weight (10 pounds) even with running and dieting. My breasts were beyond sore and I couldn't handle my husband even lightly touching them. I felt bloated the entire time and my periods were back in full force! With my previous birth control (Natazia - my insurance stopped covering), I had no period and no ovarian cysts bursting. My gynocologist recommended I get off of this pill immediately. Hopefully I will have better luck with the next!"

"I have tried almost every type of birth control out there and this is definitely my least favorite! I initially gained weight when switching from the ring to the pills and then switched to Levora from Sprintec and it's been a disaster. I gained more weight and can't get rid of it despite dropping to a 1200 cal/day diet and running/walking at least a mile 4 x week. I also have lost my libido almost completely (bad for a soon to be newlywed!) and have acne I haven't had in at least 6 years."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for 4 months and I'm getting off of it asap. I am on month 4 and I have noticed my hair is falling out, I'm always angry and my face looks like a pizza. I was on accutane for acne last year but this pill has caused all of my acne to come back. It's very depressing. I don't take it at the exact same time everyday right now I'm worried it's not even doing its job as a birth control because I am on day 3 of my period and have not started. Hate this pill."

For Birth Control "I have been on it for about 2 months now. I have had no side effects at all, not even spotting. I don't know if it's affecting my acne. I'm actually very happy with the pill in most ways except one. IT MAKES ME CRAVE FOOD! That is a BIG NO NO for me! I'm on a strict workout/dieting plan. Trying to shave off those love handles before I hit the beaches. But how can it work if I'm always eating! But other than that I'm happy with it. Apparently it affects your sex drive.. but I've had no such problems. Sex is as regular and enjoyable for me as always. I've had no dryness or anything like that. So overall I say it's great for me minus the food issue. "

For Birth Control "The first week I got Levora from Planned Parenthood was hell. I was a crazy and moody beast, and I ate everything in sight. Right now I'm finishing up my second month and it's going way better. The weird food cravings have gone down significantly, although I have gained about 4.5 pounds. The clinician said it would help my acne, but it hasn't really changed yet. Although I am really stressed with finals at college, so that may be why. It hasn't really dramatically increased though. But what HAS dramatically increased is my sex drive. I've never been a very sex driven lady, but now I definitely am and my boyfriend is loving it hahaha. Unfortunately it hasn't made my breasts grow though. All in all, I really like it."

For Birth Control "I've been on it for about a year and well I did gain about 10-15 pounds and what's worse is that it makes me lazy and exhausted all the time. It does have some benefits like not getting pregnant, it made my face clear up and glow, also regular short and light periods, and I did in fact noticed my boobs get bigger which I did not mind. Once I noticed my weight gain I had to make healthier choices and definitely work out. I just don't like that it makes me tired. I read on here that it affects your sex drive. I've never had a problem with mine. I do believe every body reacts to it differently."

For Birth Control "So, I'm writing this after a 6 year period of use from age 15 to 21. It definitely did its job since I've never been pregnant. It made my periods lighter and my cramps very minor, which is great. No significant weight gain or loss. No mood swings. (In fact I'd say that my emotional state became even LESS sensitive than before.) But man, was it KILLING my sex drive! And on the rare occasion when I actually was feeling aroused, my vagina wouldn't even self-lubricate!! Nothing going on down there whatsoever. It was a shitty situation for both me and my partner. Strangely enough, the pill also dulled my sense of smell. So yeah, the pill did its job but overall, it changed other things in ways that really concerned me. Glad to be off of it."

For Birth Control "I've used Levora for almost a year now. I do have a heavier period however they seem to be getting lighter which freaked me out at first until I learned that is what this pill is supposed to do. When I do get my period I tend to get more moody and angry but when I start the new pack this moodiness ends. As for birth control I find it works very well."

For Birth Control "I took this mainly for easing the pain of periods and then got into a relationship later on. It has definitely kept me from getting pregnant and shortened my periods by days but I've gained at least fifteen pounds and I have gotten insanely emotional. It's really miserable. "

For Birth Control "After about 3 years on levora I'm saying goodbye to it. I had no noticeable adverse side effects, except possibly slight moodiness and fatigue. This could easily be caused by working and going to school though. My periods were shortened to five days instead of seven and we're less severe. The only reason I decided to switch is that I am having more trouble every day remembering to take my pills, since my schedule is so hectic. If switching to nexplanon doesn't work out for me I would definitely consider going back on levora."

For Birth Control "Does the job. Have been on it for just over a month. Some side effects, but nothing too crazy. Dealt with mood swings and nausea the first week or so, but went away. Sex drive remains high (lol its important) Only serious drawback is that I am craving food literally EVERY SINGLE minute. Went from 117lb to 135 in just 4 weeks..... wtf Oh. And my skin has gotten worse... I started geting acne around my forehead and upper-lip. Hopefully I the appetite and acne problem goes away as I get more used to the hormones."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Levora for about 6 months. It does it's job- Prevents pregnancy. But I have gained weight, become depressed, and I have a LOT of acne, when I used to have a clear face. On the plus side though, my periods are light, and on time, every month. I also don't experience cramps, when I used to have throughout my entire period. "

For Birth Control "I've been using Levora for 4 months now and have really seen a difference in my period. It's lighter, and I already had a light period to begin with so this was a concern as I went on birth control since I have experienced other brands make my period heavier. I also believe my general PMS has seen improvements. However, I haven't noticed a difference in bloating. All-in-all, a big fan. Bear in mind, as many of us know, what works for one woman's body might be terrible for another's."

For Birth Control "I had very few side effects using Levora. Since I took the pill in the evening, I rarely ever felt nauseous. No change in weight. My PMS symptoms were never bad to begin with, but my periods became a bit lighter than normal. My skin didn't improve or get worse. However, after two months I've decided to switch to another pill with a lower dosage because of this pill's emotional effects. Little things that would normally slightly upset me for a few seconds started to make me cry or be really weepy for an extended period of time. I often can't explain why I'm so upset and don't feel in control of my emotions. I'm not sure that I would change pills if I were single at this time, but my moods have really started to affect my relationship."

For Birth Control "I love this stuff! I've had no bad side effects at all. I have painless periods now, when before I used to be in bed all day from period pains. The only bad thing I've noticed is that some months I will be very moody while on my period. I also notice that the morning after taking the first pill of each pack I feel a bit nauseous when waking up, but it goes away within a few minutes (which is normal when taking anything with hormones). I started taking this pill when I was 18 at a 34D cup size, I am now 20 years old wearing a 32DDD. I think this pills definitely had to do something with making my boobs grow, but hey I'm not complaining!"

"Been on Levora for about 5 months now, and its been great no weight loss or gain, no emotional drastic changes, no change is sex drive. The only problem is the eating habits that rise the week before my period. I literally walk about the kitchen looking for food like a crazy person. Nibbling off of everything I can and never getting full. Chocolate is the medicine of choice in the third week of the pack."

For Birth Control "I've been on and off birth control for 5 years and I was on Levora for a couple of months before I decided I didn't want to be on any birth control. I recently started taking Levora again, but I quickly remembered why I stopped taking it before, HORRIBLE breast tenderness and swelling, to the point where I'm constantly thinking about how bad my breasts hurt, it's hard to concentrate or move or do anything because they're always hurting, just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if so, if it goes away at some point? If not, I have to get off of this!"

For Birth Control "I had been taking Levora for almost two years but decided to stop because I realized many negative aspects could be contributed to it. Yes, it was a successful birth control because I never got pregnant, but I developed acne for the first time in my life (I'm 21). The acne could not be contributed to anything else - I'm a healthy and active vegetarian with an esthetician for a mother. I also had no sex drive, which was my first major red flag that something serious was out of whack. I also went from a D to an F cup - cool for my boyfriend but not for my wardrobe. It was almost impossible to lose weight. However, periods were short with no cramps or spotting and I never got pregnant. I switched to the lower-dose Lutera this week."

For Endometriosis "I have been on Levora for approximately 5 years. After I started having severe abdominal pains, I decided to stop taking birth control all together. I thought that maybe my body was just upset that I had been pumping synthetic hormones into it, so I stopped taking it for 6-8months...it didn't help. While I was on it for the 5 years, it was great. I didn't have any problems with it...my weight was fine, acne no worse or better, no mood swings and no drop in libido. I ended up back on it due to endometriosis, only this time I had all the problems I didn't have initially. I had spotting that lasted at least 2 weeks, got severe headaches, gained 10 lbs, my breasts were very tender and the WORST PART.... NO SEX DRIVE AT ALL!"

"I've been taking Levora for 2 months now. The first few weeks were AWFUL...I was an emotional wreck with severe mood swings. Also, would feel very nauseous the majority of the time, especially immediately after taking the pill. Had bad breast tenderness but within a few weeks this subsided. Only had a few days of irregular spotting but this soon subsided as well. On the second pack, I really had hardly any problems with this birth control. However, I am planning on switching pills because the one MAJOR problem I have with this pill, which is a serious deal breaker for me, is that ever since starting the pill I have experienced TERRIBLE acne...large, painful, under the skin pimples and also many tiny pimples on my forehead. Hope this helps!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Levora for 2 years, it definitely works in regards to being pregnant. My appetite has not increased to badly. I have only gained about 5 pounds. Levora seems to keep my acne in check. My periods are a lot lighter. The only problem I have is my sex drive is pretty much non-existent. It's become such a problem that I will be switching birth controls."

For Birth Control "I took Levora for the first time when I was 21 and the first day I felt really bad. I felt nauseated all day, I wanted to quit there then but I am honestly glad I did not. It was great after that, I did not experience any weight gain or acne issues. "

For Birth Control "I have been using birth control for going on 4 years, 16-20. I got on them for the purpose of I have extremely heavy periods with horrible cramps and acne. I took levora for about 2 years (no sexual activity) and I took it non stop to completely stop my period. Bad idea. I had break through bleeding and severe cramps for over 3 months of heavy bleeding. They put me on the strongest pill possible after that to try to stop my period from the continuous bleeding, didn't work although I did loose a lot of weight.. for the last year 1/2 I've been sexually active and the strongest pill DIDNT work so they put me back on levora with a seasonal period, and I haven't gotten pregnant and my acne is good and my period is gone! Other than every season."

For Birth Control "I have been on Levora for just over a month...my emotions feel the same as always and my face has been totally blemish-free, so that is awesome, (where I used to have period breakouts) but these BOOBS!! They itch SO bad!! I assume it is because they are growing (I read that it can be a side effect) but I work at a high school and it's not exactly appropriate to constantly have your hand inside your shirt to scratch your boobs. Kinda wanna rip my nipples off, hard to even wear clothes because they are so sensitive! Ugh!! Otherwise, no spotting or mood swings, and hoping that in three months times I won't have to pluck my chin as much!! That will be the big deciding factor on keeping up with this pill!"
