"Of all the biologics, Enbrel is my best compromise. It takes away most of the arthritic symptoms but does not do as well a job on the psoriasis. I think the pharms concentrate on blocking the T cell when they should work on the overall underlying issue of inflammation. If you can control the whole body's inflammation, then you'd go a LONG way to solve numerous so-called diseases."

"At various points, I was on Enbrel, Stelara, or Humira. All probably within a 3-5 year time period for psoriatic arthritis. Then I was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. All Rituxan from here out."

"A complete life changer! I've been taking Enbrel for almost 17 years. I had just turned 30, and I was hobbling through the grocery store on swollen ankles. The pain was constant. My fingers were termed sausage digits. Now I'm 50 and doing Pilates and an hour on the elliptical some days... taking my kids on 10-mile hikes up mountains. I had not heard that it was linked to colitis and Crohn's until these posts. I've had those show symptoms twice during my Enbrel years. But I am still an Enbrel fan all the way. Miraculous!"

"I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in my early 20s. Took Enbrel, and it fixed everything very quickly but wanted to see what else was out there. Methotrexate. Otezla. Each of these was not effective. Got to Humira and had great results for about 4 years before it stopped working and arthritis came back in full force. This time my disease almost killed me. I was nearly in a wheelchair by the age of 32. I went back to Enbrel and within 2 to 3 weeks I was pain-free and back at the gym. I’m now 38. The joint damage has been done since that last flare-up 5 years ago, and to this day I still have two toes and a finger I cannot bend. Enbrel is powerful stuff, no doubt. It put my disease in remission to the point that I now feel confident in trying Cosentyx to see if a safer targeted therapy will work for me as I reach middle age. But Enbrel will always be my emergency drug I go back to when all others fail. Take that for what it's worth."

"I was on this for about 1 year and did all the tests I was supposed to. Then I had a heart attack, then the chest x-ray showed lung cancer had to be removed (lung). So for me, no, it did not work, nor was it to my benefit. Now I am terrified to be an experiment, no way."

"I started taking Enbrel in 2003. It was a great drug for me and controlled my psoriasis and inflammation. Sixteen years later in 2019, I was diagnosed with lymphoma in my stomach. It was the size of a football. I stopped taking Enbrel right away, and a month later it was greatly reduced, and three months later it was the size of the back of my hand. Almost two years later, I'm still getting scanned every three or four months. If you are taking this drug, don't be complacent and keep an eye out for side effects. Looking back, I was probably sick with lymphoma for six or more months before I started realizing I had a problem, and I only found it by luck."

"I have used Enbrel for psoriatic arthritis ever since it was approved. I just started with Simponi a few months ago. Some of the psoriasis has returned on my scalp. I like the idea of only one injection a month, but I have a feeling I'll be going back to Enbrel."

"Definitely works, but I am very young to have this illness, and the headaches and fatigue are killing me. Not sure if I want to try something new, though. It helped about 90% 'most' of the time, just wondering if there is anything to make me 100% again."

"Took about three months before I noticed anything. I do believe that it took some of the pain away, but it lowered my immune system to the point that I was getting sick too often. I canceled my prescription!"

"This medication caused more joint pain, I developed a red, itchy, hot, burning rash at the injection site. The brain fog was an absolute nightmare, I would forget words when saying something or the rest of my sentence completely. Enbrel and I did not get along."

"On Enbrel for 20 years, but switching to Tremfya...can't handle the injections every 5 days and headaches and sore throat side effects, plus overall ickiness. Drug is old school, the industry still needs to improve. Miss Bextra."

"It helps with inflammation and redness on my knuckles and fingers within the 1st week. Not in remission, I still have pain in my ankles, feet, and back. I do have 2 bulging discs (L5 & L4). I take 50 mg tramadol for muscle spasms on the left side of my neck and take muscle relaxers, Baclofen 10 mg. So it could be other problems. Rate it 7."

"The drug works well. The problem is if you use the manual syringes, they don't make a travel case/bag. They make one for the preloaded syringes. It's like they are trying to force a person to change to the preloaded syringes, and they hurt badly. The manual syringes are like taking a flu shot, you barely feel it. The manual syringes are made out of glass, so they are much harder to travel with."

"In Hustler America, for-profit publicly traded 'health' insurance companies manage all care. The doctor is simply window dressing. The for-profit publicly traded 'health' insurance companies and PBMs (pharmacy benefit management organizations) deny every claim and deny needed medicine to generate billions in profit for rebates, etc. That's American 'health' 'care'. A sad joke. Other than war and hustling-what exactly did America really stand for?"

"This drug worked like magic for me, going from not being able to dress myself, tie shoelaces or buttons to being totally mobile again within 2 doses! Also worked wonders on psoriasis, all with no outward side effects for more than a year now! Thank you!"
