"I've been on this Estradiol patch since I had a full hysterectomy in 2003. No issues until my pharmacy ordered the Sandoz patch manufactured by 3M Drug Delivery Systems instead of the one from Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Both are 0.0375 mg/day. The 3M patch is much larger, doesn't stick, causes a rash, causes hot flashes, bad breast tenderness and growth, migraines, and loss of sleep. I had to cut the patch since it was too much estrogen. The Noven patch seems to be identical to Vivelle Dot and works as directed for me. Beware of the manufacturer! I rate 3M a ZERO and Noven a 10."

"This estradiol patch really helped me. I had tried estradiol and tried estrogen creams, they gave me severe migraines. You can tell if you forget to put the patch on, you start getting flashes and anxious."

"My Rx was changed to the Mylan brand estrogen patch after I relocated out of state and changed insurance as well as pharmacies, and after being on Climara for over a year with no issues. The Mylan brand was crap. They fell off after 3-5 days, supposed to wear them for 7. By day two, my skin was completely red and rashed out more than 5 inches in diameter under the patch no matter where I put them. I had to use these for 4 weeks until my doctor, pharmacy, and insurance could get it together and put me back on the Climara brand."

"I used Estradot for exactly 1 hour and a half. I took it off because it made me so sick-so nauseous and a massive headache. I took it on a Friday, and it is now Friday again, and I am still nauseous, it won’t go away. I am in tears because I feel sick all the time."

"Taking the Estradiol patch has caused me to have very frequent migraines when normally I don’t get one but now and then. It also doesn’t last the 3 to 3 1/2 days. The hair on my face starts popping out after a day and a half to 2 days. This causes an increase in hot flashes. Also, it has increased my desire for sex, causing nipples to be very sensitive. I have desires like a teenager."

"I love the patch! My hot flashes were so bad. I had them all day long and all night. I tried every available natural remedy, and nothing gave me any relief. I put up with the hot flashes for two years and finally couldn't stand it any longer. I couldn't get a decent night's sleep due to hot flashes every hour. I tried Estradiol pills first, and they didn't do much. I read that some women have better luck with the patch, so I tried it. That did the trick. No more hot flashes! What a relief! And I have zero side effects."

"I initially got the Mylan brand patch, and they never seemed to stay on for the whole week. Then, when I got a refill, it was the Sandoz brand. They are much thinner and more flexible. As long as I carefully clean and dry the area before placing the patch, they stay on the entire week and are often more difficult to remove because they are still hanging on so well. When I switched insurance providers, they only had Mylan brand for mail order. They were horrible! They always broke me out where they were placed, and even if I didn't get a rash, I had a lot of itching and discomfort. Also, they never seemed to stay on more than a few days, regardless of how well I prepared the area. They are also larger and thicker, so I could feel them all the time. I had to call around pharmacies to find the Sandoz brand again and go back to buying them from a retail pharmacy instead of mail order, but no regrets about that!"

"I have been using it for 1 month, it eliminated all my menopause complaints. When used with a surgical adhesive band, it does not come off. However, I can no longer find the medication. I think production has stopped. Unfortunately, my treatment will end. Nightmare days will return, I am very sad."

"I use 0.05 Estradiol by Mylan. I am on month 8 and have no complaints. No more night sweats, and the patches stay on no problem. I have not used any other products for menopause symptoms, therefore, I have nothing to compare to."

"I have been using this twice a week for 6 months and have found it useless. I have had no weight loss. I am obese, yet eat a healthy diet, and don't use sugar or much salt, so it's not my diet. I also use a bike at home to exercise."

"I’ve been on the generic Mylan estradiol patch a month. No issues with it coming off. I exercise, shower, and bathe as normal. My symptoms have improved. I’m very happy."

"Worthless - will not stay on - to the point that the company should be looked into for producing such a defective delivery system."

"The worst patches ever! I’ve used them on several locations, and they hardly last one day. A total waste of money. It adds up to 5 to 7 patches per week. They should be taken off the market."

"I was on the brand name Minneville for several years and was fine. However, the generic equivalent did NOT work for me. It was like I wasn't even wearing it. I'm going back to the brand name."

"This worked, but it’s sad to say they don’t stick. They only stay on 2 days, if that. I’m paying 50 bucks every 2 weeks. It sucks. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone that’s on a set budget, everyone can’t afford to spend extra if they don’t have the money. This company is just ripping people off."
