For Birth Control "This medication made me feel moody, achy, tired, and I gained weight. Never have I struggled with birth control before, name brand or generic. This medication has sent me on a rollercoaster, and after nearly 8 months, it’s not leveled out. Why does the pharmacy just change on you with no good reason? It only gets more than a 1 because it has proven effective in its one job, the rest are horrible."

"I have an updated review since being on Nikki from October 2017 onward. At first, it seemed like a miracle drug because it didn't cause any crazy side effects like mood swings or increased acne. However, in the last 2 months, I've noticed an increase in weight from either fat or water weight. I thought it was due to an antidepressant I'm on, but I got off that 2 weeks ago, and I'm steadily gaining. I did some research on other birth control for PCOS and discovered that OrthoCyclen is low-androgenic and monophasic (steady hormones). I take the pill continuously - no placebo pills - to prevent ovarian cysts that rupture. I just went through and ordered MonoNessa, which is the generic of OrthoCyclen and gets good reviews. Hopefully, it will not cause weight gain or any other bad side effects, as weight gain is not acceptable to me."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "Nikki affects you immediately. My complexion went downhill within days. I’m having pain from my ovarian cysts, my breasts are sore and swollen, and I’ve put on almost 5-6 lbs. I echo all of the reviews."

For Birth Control "I got non-consensually switched from BeYaz to Nikki because my health insurance stopped covering brand name meds, and I was forced to trial 2 generics. I was on BeYaz for 13 years with absolutely no problems or symptoms. After being on Nikki for 6 months, I can attest to this being the worst medication I’ve ever taken, with horrible side effects. I gained 15 lbs, resulting in an autoimmune disorder flare-up, felt emotionally beaten down, incredibly tired, lethargic, my migraines increased by double the amount, and anxiety/depression made their way into the picture, causing me to take myself off of this med. My health insurance refuses to cover a name brand BC, so I will be using a card to get my $278 (out of pocket) BeYaz for $58."

For Birth Control "The insurance switched me to Nikki! I have gained 20 lbs in 3 months even though I work out and do 5 miles a day. Increase in migraines. A positive: I hardly break out."

For Birth Control "I am sure I am not alone when I saw “I DON'T WANT MY PERIOD!” On my old birth control, I bled for 2 weeks at a time, I gained weight, had massive panic attacks, literally didn't like my body, etc. I cried to my OB, saying I want something new. She gave me Nikki. I lost my period (THANK GOD), my mental health got better, everything got so much better, I loved myself again. I haven’t had a period since I started Nikki. I went from wanting to have my uterus ripped out of me immediately to “I guess you can stay for a bit.”"
