For Birth Control "I got non-consensually switched from BeYaz to Nikki because my health insurance stopped covering brand name meds, and I was forced to trial 2 generics. I was on BeYaz for 13 years with absolutely no problems or symptoms. After being on Nikki for 6 months, I can attest to this being the worst medication I’ve ever taken, with horrible side effects. I gained 15 lbs, resulting in an autoimmune disorder flare-up, felt emotionally beaten down, incredibly tired, lethargic, my migraines increased by double the amount, and anxiety/depression made their way into the picture, causing me to take myself off of this med. My health insurance refuses to cover a name brand BC, so I will be using a card to get my $278 (out of pocket) BeYaz for $58."

For Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I took one Nikki pill, and my life went to shambles in three days. I went absolutely crazy emotionally. My anger, depression, and anxiety went through the roof. I usually take .125 of Klonopin as needed for my anxiety - I took 1 mg, and it didn't even help. My PMDD is pretty severe, but this almost ruined me. We'll see how long until I feel normal again or if I cause more emotional wreckage - it's only three days later."

For Birth Control "I hated this pill. It made me horribly depressed and break out with acne. Don't take."

For Birth Control "Nikki was my first BC, my 2nd week of taking it. I started experiencing very bad migraines, blurry vision, nausea, low sex drive, and depression. I stopped taking it and spoke to my doctor about it."

For Birth Control "I went on Nikki for acne, and it was great for acne, my skin became clear within a few months. For birth control, though, it was the absolute worst. I developed painful stomach problems, I became depressed, and a lot more anxious. It worsened my mood. I recently stopped taking it, and I couldn't believe how much better I felt mentally. I do not recommend this pill."
