"I have used dicloxacillin for chronic femur infection for 5 or more years without any side effects so far. Recently, I was prescribed amoxicillin instead but can't tolerate it. Extreme stomach upset from gas and constant belching, which also upset sleep. Due to repeated infection flare-ups, I am now on 1000mg 4 times in 24 hours. (dicloxacillin)."
