For Bowel Preparation "61 yr old male, 3rd colonoscopy, 1st time for Prepopik - $40 after insurance. Followed all product instructions. 1st dose @ 6 pm, 2nd dose @ 11 pm for a 7 am procedure. Taste is very mild & easy to swallow. For my liquids, alternated Sprite, Gatorade, apple juice, and beef broth. Also alternated lemon, pineapple, and lime Jell-O when hungry (allowable per instructions). Several hrs for 1st action, then sporadic trips as needed. Actually slept in bed from 2:30-5:00 am. No cramps, nausea, dizziness, fever, huge gas explosions, or other ugly side effects (other than normal burning and raw feeling). Highly recommend moist wipes. Color was eventually pale brown/bright yellow before leaving home @ 5:30 (never clear). Colon photos were clean & clear."

For Bowel Preparation "It worked, but it caused me to pass out. I took this as instructed - 1 dose at 4 pm and another at 8 pm. My doctor's instructions were to drink 2 16 oz glasses of water/beverage or more after the 4 pm dose, and that liquids could continue to be consumed after the second dose until midnight. I drank some herbal tea. Things went fine after the first dose, and it seemed gentle enough. I went to the restroom several times and things seemed to be moving along. I took the second dose and by 10 pm thought I was done. I woke up at 12:30 am with stomach cramps and a pounding headache. I had watery diarrhea and became very dizzy. I stood up and passed out, hitting my head."

For Bowel Preparation "I have no idea why this got so many bad reviews, except to say people are more likely to review a product or business, etc., when they are dissatisfied. And who is really ever 'satisfied' with bowel prep? :) So it tasted like... sweet and sour orange soda without the fizz? Not actually repulsive at all. I had to drink some gross stuff for an MRI once. This was way better. I have never had a colonoscopy before but picked up my rather expensive Prepopik (I think around $125 after insurance), followed directions to the T, and had no bloating or discomfort. It took about an hour to kick in. I went to the bathroom about 5 times last night and five times so far this morning after doing the second round of prep (I had a split pack). No discomfort. I had been prepared for the worst, but it was super easy. I drank more fluids than required, but I just feel a wee bit dizzy, that's it. BMs are yellow liquid, so I believe I am all set for today. I would recommend Prepopik."

For Bowel Preparation "First time colonoscopy, so cannot compare other preps. Took the first dose at 4 pm, followed by five 8 oz water until 9 pm. This was gentle enough. Took the second dose at 9 pm followed by three 8 oz of water until midnight. Around 2:30 am, I woke up with extreme abdominal cramping. Had bowel movements, went to stand up and was dizzy, hot, and laid down on the floor with very hard abdominal cramping. Got a pillow and laid on the tile floor because I was too sick to return to bed. Also had a small amount of vomiting during this time. The doctor said I was clean for the procedure, but won't be taking this again for a prep unless they do something for the horrible cramping."

For Bowel Preparation "I took a packet at 6 pm after only having liquids for the whole day and had several bowel movements. It was nothing as intense as when I did other prep drinks, but I did go. When I did the second packet at 11 pm, I immediately vomited. It was pure water. I went to the colonoscopy anyway and told the nurse I vomited but thought I was empty. The doctor did the colonoscopy, but I was not prepped properly, so now I have to do it again! So annoying!!! I think this concentrated formula is too strong! Made me feel dizzy and very nauseous. Rather just use the old one."

For Bowel Preparation "The stuff is nuclear. I hated it, but it cleaned me out big time. Second dose gave me a huge headache, nausea, dry heaves, dizziness, sweats, chills, and fear. I was totally cleaned out. Third colonoscopy, but first and last time on this."

For Bowel Preparation "Used for colonoscopy prep since it was the smallest amount to drink over the longest time. Tasted like Sprite. Drank 7 8 oz. glasses of water over the next hour. 90 minutes and had 3 explosions. Then 2 more glasses of water until the 2nd dose 5 hrs later. 2 glasses of water, 30 minutes later, awful stomach cramps, dizziness, numb fingers and toes, dry mouth. Thought I was going to pass out from the pain. Worse than labor pains! Took 30 minutes to pass. Went to bed exhausted. Definitely cleaned me out!"
