"Well, I was prescribed this capsaicin 0.075% cream, used it on my feet and legs around 11 pm. By 1 am, my sleep was disrupted by the most insane pain ever. 10 out of 10 pain. I’m a 29-year-old man that was brought to tears. My partner thought someone had died. The shower made it 100% worse! What is this nightmare stuff? This product shouldn’t be available. Blacklist this rubbish and only give it to the people you seriously don’t like! AVOID."

"I had a really bad experience using capsaicin. My husband rubbed it into my shoulder when I had severe tendonitis, thinking it would reduce the pain. It created such severe burning and itching that I had to shower immediately to get it off, and it didn't relieve it. Months later, my husband had severe pain due to trigger finger. Thinking I might have had an allergic reaction, we applied it to his finger. Again, severe burning and itching that caused his sleep to be disrupted. I wrapped a cold washcloth around his finger, and after a while, it started burning again. I threw the rest of the tube in the trash. Big warning: don't use this unless you don't mind severe burning and itching."

"Works well. I get Qutenza every 3 months. The only problem is it burns for about 2 days afterwards. I am in the UK and was covered by the NHS."

"This was prescribed by my doctor. I put it on the side of my face, by my ear, felt as if it was on fire, burning so hot. I am not happy with this cream."

"Set my legs on fire, tenfold. Had to stop using it. Also affected me when I went to the toilet. Ring of fire for real."

"I tried everything on the shelf in my chemist for neuropathic pain. Was so debilitated by my pain. Couldn't sleep, drive, sit in particular positions. The burning is a relief initially over my carpal tunnel pain. Neuropathic pain. Capsaicin is an outstanding cream. I'm smiling again 11/10."
