For High Blood Pressure "I have developed an itchy rash with red weals on different parts of my body, and I itch constantly all over my skin where there are no visible marks. I have been treated with a steroid cream, which has had little effect. It is driving me crazy."

For High Blood Pressure "One day I had a problem with my breathing, so after medical intervention, I needed cardioversion, of which I was given bisoprolol. From the start of being on this, I have had major itching and now have muscle spasms in my neck, so as of now, I am not taking said drug. The worst moment was when I started taking this drug, my skin was so itchy that it made me feel like peeling my skin off my body - might be rare, but that is my view."

For Heart Failure "Severe joint pain, cramps, fatigue, neck pain. Skin itching and eye area. I was on 5 mg, cut in half to 2.5 mg and still had the pains. I have stopped this bisoprolol. After 24 hrs, skin itching has stopped after the 2nd day without this med. Heart rate up a little, will evaluate after 5 days."

For Supraventricular Tachycardia "I am fed up with this drug. I was prescribed it at 2.5 mg in April 2023 after an episode of SVT that resulted in hospitalization. I have suffered so many side effects - tired, dizzy, headaches, and body aches, particularly nasty left leg pains and stiffness. As a consequence, my dose has been reduced to 1.75 mg. But I am still suffering side effects - tiredness and now very itchy skin. I have had a few incidents of arrhythmia and high heartbeats since taking it at the lower dose too."
