For Allergic Rhinitis "I've tried this for a month off and on. Have found some sinus relief for my non-allergic rhinitis but seem to have what feels like my uvula is swollen and become very tired and feel difficulty swallowing. Still able to eat and drink but definitely notice a difference. Not sure if this is a side effect of the medication."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Started working in a new office in basement Manhattan. Immediately seemed like I caught a flu. After a month, realized it was allergies. When I wasn't there, I would feel better. When I was there, the symptoms returned: runny nose, headache, head stuffiness, sinus pressure, lymph pressure, pain along sides of neck, and ear infection pain. So I switched from exploring cold/ear medicines (Theraflu and Cioprodex helped) to allergy medicines. Flonase and Allegra didn't seem to do much of anything. Now trying Azelastine, which seems to just create more problems: head stuffy, ear pressure, headache, groggy, tired, muscle pain in lower neck (the ones connecting to torso). The best solution for me was leaving the job."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have found this drug to be the only thing that addresses my post-nasal drip year-round. Lots of reviews complain about the sleepiness. My doctor advised that over time it should make me less and less tired. In the beginning, I took it only at night. I now take it during the day, and it does not make me half as tired as it did in the beginning. So if it works, stick with it, the tiredness gets better! The taste in the back of the throat comes and goes, but you really do have to stick your head down for a good minute. It’s worth the wait. Also, in certain scenarios, such as if I’m going to have a few cocktails, I cannot take it. Wish I could so I don’t have a runny nose while having drinks with my friends!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Terrible. I blame the pharmacist for not giving me directions for use and side effect information. So, at 4 pm, I sprayed it inside each nasal, right away, that bitter taste was horrifying and lasted 5 hours. Later, at 7 pm, I took my Ativan. About an hour later, I felt so sleepy/tired/drowsy, and my blood pressure was sky high at 179/101 while all alone, it was under control without meds. I’m very upset at my new doctor and the pharmacy for neglecting my safety."

"Oh my God. This. Is. Disgusting. I was given this for a deviated septum. I can’t even stand it, I’m coughing, and I’m nauseous, and my throat feels dry when I breathe, and I am tired, and uggghhh. I wish I had not even taken this. I don’t want to eat or breathe, it’s so disgusting."

For Allergic Rhinitis "This worked great for post-nasal drip and nasal congestion. Actually, the first medication that I can ever recall doing such a great job. Two drawbacks for me: One, it makes me extremely tired, so I only take it at night. Two, it dries my throat out, necessitating throat lozenges and is just a general annoyance. I now use it only as needed."
