Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate for Headache "This was the first medication I received for my migraines, and it worked for 90% of my migraines. However, the side effects left me dizzy, disoriented, drowsy, and just generally intoxicated and unable to perform normal work. I switched to Fioricet, and it's been a much better experience since."

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate for Headache "While I prefer Migraten (which has caffeine instead of the sedative in Midrin), I LOVE these medicines for headaches. They truly help my painful symptoms. I don't feel 'high' or groggy at all, like with narcotics. If you suffer from migraines or tension headaches, try these for sure! (Plus, this was the only relief I got for headaches during pregnancy)."

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate for Headache "Epidrin works great for my migraines! I do feel side effects of slight drowsiness/drugged feelings, but these are much more tolerable than having migraine symptoms!"

For Headache "Migraines since my teens; clusters since 30; only efficient medication: Midrin. I now take ineffective triptans/opiates for migraines with aura. For clusters, total misery for days wishing I could pound my head against a wall till it stops. I’m disabled; can’t afford the formulation of Midrin. Knowing there’s medication that’s SAFE & EFFICIENT pulled for this reason disgusts me as an RN. I no longer work. 1 maybe 2 capsules, within 30 minutes I was a fully functioning acute care psych charge RN. I wonder if I won’t end up a patient due to lack of Midrin! FDA stop the refusing to reinstate Midrin, that has worked for years with no hangover effects, drowsiness, nor rebound migraines for me and for dozens, hundreds of my former patients. Migraines ineffectively treated can lead to suicidal thoughts and behaviors. What will it take before realizing the total cost of pulling this safe and efficient medication? Time to balance bureaucracy and red tape for common sense, decency, and patient experiences!"
