Using vasopressin together with eslicarbazepine may increase the risk of developing water retention and a condition known as hyponatremia, which is caused by an abnormal decrease in blood sodium concentration. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential to help prevent progression to more serious and life-threatening complications.
