Therapy with dyphylline and products containing dyphylline should be administered cautiously in patients with severe cardiac disease, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, or recent myocardial infarction. The relationship between plasma dyphylline levels and therapeutic as well as toxic effects has not been determined.
