Usual Adult Dose for Contraception
Vaginal film: Insert 1 film as far in to the vagina as possible against the cervix not less than 15 minutes or more than 3 hours before each act of intercourse
Vaginal foam: Insert one applicatorful of foam vaginally no more than 1 hour before each act of intercourse
Vaginal gel: Insert one applicatorful of foam vaginally before each act of intercourse; each applicatorful is effective immediately and up to 1 hour after application
Vaginal insert: Insert one insert vaginally at least 10 minutes before intercourse; provides 1 hour of protection

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not use if the patient or their sex partner has human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/ acquired immunodeficiency deficiency syndrome (AIDS); if status is unknown, use a different form of birth control.
