Zolmitriptan for Migraine "I am 62 years old and male and have taken Zomig for 15 years now. Works every time I have a headache. I get about 4 headaches per month, and it has never failed... my silver bullet every time. My migraines are in my upper back and trapezoid muscles most often. Do not get them in my head much anymore. Bad side effects: are mild burning when showering or washing hands in hot water. Occasionally makes me tired. Very rarely, maybe once in two to three years, violent vomiting, because I have had a severe headache for 4 to 6 hours and have taken it way too late on an empty stomach. Sometimes if I have a headache for 8 hours and take it then, it will still cure the headache, but can take up to 5 hours to cure it at that point. Good side effects: 98% of the time, Zomig makes me feel better than good, but not high. I feel extra relaxed, well rested, calm, and confident. Really extra wonderful."

For Migraine "I began experiencing migraines in my early teens. By my early 20s, I had tried almost every medicine made without relief. My migraines are hormone-related and predictable. For 3 days during my menstrual cycle and another 3 days during ovulation. Without any relief, I would end up in the emergency room, miss work, and honestly feel like I wanted to die. For Migraine "After 5 years of trying literally every drug prescribed by my GP and neurologist, this is an absolute miracle. Migraines, which were so frequent and severe, accompanied by constant vomiting (and lots of crying), made it impossible to hold down a job, go on holiday, or plan anything at all, are now 9 times out of 10 knocked on the head (pun intended) by this wonder drug. I use the nasal spray, which I've found works best if taken at the first sign. Also, lying down helps to keep the medication in the nasal passages where it's absorbed quicker. Zolmitriptan for Migraine "Normally, my migraines take a few hours to go from the inkling I'm getting one to full-blown vomiting and feeling like my body is turning inside out, with chills and sweating, etc. After taking this at the inkling stage, within minutes, I was throwing up, and it had become a full-blown migraine. Zolmitriptan for Migraine "Zomig ZMT works well for me so far. Two years on it after Maxalt seemed to be less effective. I begin vomiting, and nothing can help me then, so orally disintegrating tablets or a shot is all I can do. My migraines always seemed to be hormonal, but now that I'm post-menopause, I still get them. Maybe fewer, but just as severe without treatment. Lifetime sufferer with family history (father, his brother, his sister, his mother, his brother's daughter, me, all three of my kids). Having these migraine medicines work is like a miracle!"

For Migraine "This drug has changed my life. My migraines used to leave me in pain for days along with vomiting, sensitivity to light, etc. The nasal spray works within half an hour and usually provides full relief. I can't even believe it-migraine gone. Leaves me with a sore throat, but I don't mind it. The first couple of times it made me sleepy, but I got used to it. Zomig allows me to move on with my life instead of living my life in pain. If you are debating, definitely give this a try!"

For Migraine "Usually works well, but this time, I'm on my 7th day of a migraine. I've had migraines since I was 13. Now 43. My biggest problem is I have fibromyalgia all day when I have to take it, especially more than one time in a 24-hour period. I can hardly move. My body is sensitive to everything: water, pressure, touch, even pressure from laying in bed or sitting in a chair. It is excruciating. I go from a constant daily pain level of an 8 to a 10. It usually lasts about 3 days after I stop taking it. But, Zomig, Relpax, Imitrex, Midrin-all of them do it. I think it is all triptan meds. I can't get rid of this for nothing and am violently vomiting, and my body hurts so, so bad that I don't know what to do."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "First time taking the spray, and it's horrible. It made me vomit, made my migraine worse, my nose feels weird and hurts, and I want to fall asleep. Horrible!"

For Migraine "This medication made me nauseous. I’ve been vomiting like crazy, and it’s caused a worse headache for me. I don’t recommend it at all."
