Zolmitriptan for Migraine "This has been a life changer. I get 2-3 bad migraines a month that last usually over a day or two, and it would make me completely nonfunctional. The great thing is that this medicine works fast and completely takes away the splitting pain. The side effects the first two times were sleepiness and a pretty sore throat and face, but since then they've been extremely mild and almost unnoticeable. Please try it, it's worth it."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "Thought I was having a stroke as the migraine was the worst I’ve ever had, severe nausea, unbearable pain, and rapid heart rate, etc. Took a 2.5 mg tablet and was able to sleep within 25 mins, and when I woke up just over an hour later, I felt human again. Did have some shooting pains in chest after 20 mins, but as far as side effects go, it’s not the worst. Personally, it’s given me some quality of life back as my migraines are chronic."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "The medication works, however, it makes me incredibly sleepy. It also makes my skin very sensitive, and my jaw will ache. It hurts to chew. It is worth it to get rid of the migraine, but it has some unpleasant side effects."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "I was given this to try for menstrual migraines. (I only get my migraines the first day of, the last day of, and sometimes halfway between periods.) While it did get rid of my migraine, the pain got a lot worse before it went away. That was the one and only time I used this medication."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "I have been having migraines since I was very young and now 60. I found I couldn't travel anywhere and couldn't go out in the sun. I've been taking Zomig for 4 years, and usually it just stops my migraine straight away. I must admit it has given me my life back. But yesterday, while I was driving a long distance, it came on quick, and Zomig didn't work as well. I think I took it too late. When I finally got home in agony, all the side effects started. I felt really ill, my throat closed, and pain shot around my neck and back. Hopefully, this won't happen again."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "My migraines appear hormonal related, premenopausal in my 40's. If taken at onset, Zomig is very effective against my migraines. If taken later, it is still effective but requires another dose within a few hours, as directed, to get the pain under control - HOWEVER if taken then, I've had the stiff neck and jaw thing. I do notice that my skin is sensitive to heat after I've taken Zomig, and my taste buds are sensitive to some flavors (excessive salivating). It does make me dizzy. I usually break a tablet in half (which I was just reading you're NOT supposed to do, but it doesn't say why), and if I catch the migraine fast enough, half is usually enough to deter it. I save the other half for later if the migraine feels like it is returning."

For Migraine "I have had migraines since my 20s and took Zomig last night for the first time, only to wake up like I had RA. My joints in both hands were in so much pain I could hardly get dressed or hold a purse. Additionally, my hips were in pain. I do not recommend this drug to anyone. I know migraines can be debilitating, but taking Zomig to maybe cause RA or any type of autoimmune disease is definitely not worth it. I never write any reviews, but I found others should be aware of side effects."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "This product seemed to work really fast, but sometimes it wouldn't take care of all the pain from the migraine. Also, I noticed when I do a hard body workout at the gym and if I get a migraine the next day or two after that workout, the medicine made my body ache real bad. My chest, arms, and legs would really hurt from the constricting blood vessels."

For Migraine "Usually works well, but this time, I'm on my 7th day of a migraine. I've had migraines since I was 13. Now 43. My biggest problem is I have fibromyalgia all day when I have to take it, especially more than one time in a 24-hour period. I can hardly move. My body is sensitive to everything: water, pressure, touch, even pressure from laying in bed or sitting in a chair. It is excruciating. I go from a constant daily pain level of an 8 to a 10. It usually lasts about 3 days after I stop taking it. But, Zomig, Relpax, Imitrex, Midrin-all of them do it. I think it is all triptan meds. I can't get rid of this for nothing and am violently vomiting, and my body hurts so, so bad that I don't know what to do."

Zolmitriptan for Migraine "First reaction was all over tingling and pain. Then my skin felt like something was crawling all over, and I still have a headache. I have had similar reactions to Maxalt and Imitrex."

For Cluster Headaches "I have had chronic migraines and cluster headaches for years. This month, I was having multiple auras a day and was bedridden for the entire month. I was at my wit's end, thinking about ending my life because I can't live like this anymore. I also have fibromyalgia and multiple other diagnoses, and these migraines are just too much on top of everything else. Very low quality of life until I started this med. I experience about 1-2 hours of side effects; they improve if I eat and take an anti-nausea pill. Once that time is up, I'll still feel a little achy and puffy throat and slight remaining nausea. These side effects are a cakewalk when compared to the daily suffering and excruciating migraines. Highly recommend; just be prepared for intense initial side effects, stay calm, eat a piece of toast, and ride it out. I feel hope for the first time in a long time and am grateful to be able to get on with my life!"
