Zinc oxide topical for Diaper Rash "Used this butt paste for my daughter's diaper rash. Within 30 mins, she couldn’t even sit down. The butt paste made her butt and vaginal area super red that I couldn’t even bathe her without her screaming in pain. I used Desitin Max strength, and it immediately started working and helped her. I threw away the butt paste."

For Dermatologic Lesion "I have some facial scar tissue from a dog bite, and it generally looks reddish. I also have allergies to fragrances, and I have very sensitive skin. A friend suggested that I try zinc oxide to reduce the redness, and it has worked tremendously for me. I use it around my nose and chin area, and I think the scar tissue looks minimal and the redness is much less. I am using it nightly now."

Zinc oxide topical "I'm going through radiation treatments for breast cancer. I developed redness and very painful blistering. I used Butt paste on a severe sunburn previously, which helped. So, I tried it on the radiation burns, which took the pain away and healed the blisters. The creams the oncologist had provided were ineffective. I shared this with the radiation oncologist, and she approved and will put it on her list for other patients."

Zinc oxide topical "After 6 years of treating leg ulcers, a friend suggested using Butt Paste, something used years ago for treating bed ulcers (decubitus). I asked the doctor, who laughed. He gave his okay. We are now healed of 2 bed ulcers (4 weeks old when starting to use the paste), as well as just a few weeks out of the leg ulcers being healed. Thank you for continuing to make this wonderful medication. Been using on legs for 4 months, on bed ulcer for 2 weeks on superficial deep 2 inches wide by 2 inches long."

Zinc oxide topical for Diaper Rash "I live in Covington, Louisiana, where Boudreaux's Butt Paste was first made around the 1970s, was sold at a drug store right across from St. Tammany Hospital. Then it was sold in a white bottle before they started manufacturing the product years later. I have three children, raised using Boudreaux's Butt Paste before it got its final name."

For Dermatologic Lesion "I had 3 flea bites on my lower leg, and they were very itchy. I put some zinc oxide ointment on them before bed. It contained 20% zinc oxide, mineral oil, and petrolatum. The next morning, the bites had red striations around them that looked like broken blood vessels. I wiped off whatever ointment was left, and the red marks finally dissipated over the next 4 days or so. I contacted the company to ask them if the product contained nano-sized zinc. They said it didn't. I have never had a reaction to mineral oil or petrolatum, so I assume it was a reaction to the zinc oxide. I won't use it again."

For Diaper Rash "My baby has extremely sensitive skin. One day after picking her up from the babysitter, she had a severe diaper rash. She's had problems with eczema and diaper rashes since she was born. I am still trying to find out if maybe the diaper rashes can be caused by milk. I have tried everything. Frustrated and desperate to find something that would help my baby girl feel better, I was introduced to zinc oxide, my aunt swore it works, so I tried it! Miracle cream I call it! It worked when nothing else would, and within 1 day, my baby's rash went from severe to mild... It was like night and day! My baby is happier now."

Zinc oxide topical "This Boudreaux Butt Paste cleared up my shingles like magic. I didn't have any OTC meds available. Boudreaux's Butt Paste I knew has 16% zinc ingredient. Seemed like a good idea to treat the rash similar to diaper rash condition. It worked!"

For Dermatologic Lesion "I am 24 years old and had very big chickenpox spots, so I used Sudocrem containing zinc oxide to dry the spots after the first day of my chickenpox. I also used it when I terribly burned my hand during cooking. In both cases, it totally helped to calm down my skin condition and help it heal faster."

Zinc oxide topical "This was recommended to my daughter, who has been getting rashes in her armpits. She tried it for the first time last night. At 3 am, she is sobbing and in tremendous pain, and she can't get it off of her skin! My daughter doesn't have allergies, so not sure why it did that to her. I do NOT recommend this product. It should not cause pain!"

Zinc oxide topical for Diaper Rash "Butt paste was very useful for my baby. She had diaper rash 4 times. I tried lots of variety (Desitin, A&D, nystatin, Neosporin), but none worked. I tried Butt Paste, it's really very good."
