For Insomnia "I started taking it for chronic PTSD nightmares/night terrors, and it only made it worse. It helped getting to sleep, but the nightmares became much more vivid, I could remember them more clearly instead of instantly forgetting them. After I woke up from the dreams, I couldn’t tell if I was still dreaming or awake. I would be stuck in a liminal psychosis for hours."

For Insomnia "Effective with sleep. Only problems for me were next-day drowsiness, very vivid dreams to the point where it was uncomfortable, and it kicking in too fast. I took it before I took a shower before bed just to give it time to kick in, and I almost fell over stepping out of the shower, so be ready for bed when you take it."

For Sedation "This medication causes me to have very vivid and disconcerting dreams that are disorienting and, at times, downright disturbing. I take a 100 mg dose one time a day and have started Prazosin for the dreams. If this doesn't work, it's back to the drawing board."
