For Insomnia "I was put on trazodone, weaned off Venlafaxine due to Ven SE. After 4 days, I became hypomanic for about 14 days. I have never had an episode of hypomania before. My adult children, friends, and parents pointed out to me that it was not normal because I was just enjoying it and thinking everything was wonderful... woke after 2 hours of sleep, ready to start the day again. The sleep itself always included long and detailed dreams, several of which were intensely disturbing. I stopped the trazodone dead with the doctor's agreement. Be very careful with this one."
