For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am on my 5th week. Just started 5 mg Friday 04/25/25. I started 03/28/25 on the 2.5 mg. My second day I was nauseous, but nothing Sprite and Zofran couldn’t fix. Fast forward to today. I have been sleeping really well, inflammation is gone, my hunger and food noise is gone. Now I notice the day before my shot day I start to crave some, but I just drink my water to stay full. Also, a little minor constipation. I take a stool softener with my morning vitamins, which helps, plus water, water, water!! I am loving this medicine so far, I am down 10 lbs, which I don’t think that’s bad in 5 weeks."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started using Zepbound on October 31st of this year. The beginning dosage was 2.5 mg. I started to lose 1-3 lbs. a week. The dosage was increased to 5 mg, which I started on the 4th week. Current total loss of 11.5 lbs. My provider has suggested that I increase the dose to 7.5 mg for my next refill. I do have side effects: nausea, constipation, dry mouth. My appetite has diminished, but I have to make a conscientious effort to eat. Cravings for specific foods have gone as well. I have a fear of needles, but do not feel the injections or any discomfort associated with normal 'shots.' Overall, my experience has been a good one, but it is still early."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 55-year-old female, 5’7 starting weight 250, started Zepbound 6 weeks ago. 1st month, 2.5 — moved up to 5 2nd month. Probably the most annoying, almost immediate side effects were GERD, bloating, and constipation. However, this did improve quickly when I added more fiber, avoided high-fat, saucy foods, and ate less. I do agree with the others… that it definitely helps your “hunger-food brain.” I can skip a meal without even noticing. I fill up eating a quarter to half of what I would normally eat. I begin getting nauseated while I eat, which makes me stop eating, of course. Now that I've increased from 2.5 to 5, the nausea is a little worse, but intermittent and tolerable. Hoping this will improve once my body adjusts. Overall, still very thankful for this opportunity to try Zepbound. I'm trying to find some type of a meal plan to follow, with sufficient protein and fiber, as well as other foods or supplements to prevent muscle loss, hair loss, constipation, and fatigue."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am happy with the results so far. I have lost 29 lbs in 13 weeks. My goal is 75 lb weight loss. My appetite is far less, and my cravings for sugar have much improved. I have had some constipation and 1 or 2 episodes of nausea but did not vomit. You have to drink water! I started on 2.5 mg and was increased to 5 mg. I'm worried to go to a higher dose due to potential increased side effects, as I have a history of kidney issues. However, since I started the medicine, my Hga1c is normal and lipid panel perfect."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I began this treatment in April. It is now mid-September. I have lost 20 pounds. It is very easy to use, which is a big deal for those who have a needle phobia. In the beginning, I had very few side effects. After going to the 7.5 mg dose, I started to experience constipation and nausea. To combat this, I began a small fiber intake routine and requested Zofran from my doctor. Both are very effective for those side effects. I am now on a 12.5 mg dose and doing well. I feel I am close to a maintenance dose. This medication was quite effective. I am a small person, menopausal, and struggled with losing weight. Losing 20 lbs for my size is a very big deal. Through this process, I have learned better eating habits, keeping my portions small to maintain a healthy weight and continuing my exercise routine even if I am not losing weight. All in all, this was a win-win for me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "There are pros and cons to every medication that you take. Zepbound does help with weight loss. Your appetite decreases, but you can and will have GI side effects: constipation, gas, abdominal pain with overeating, belching, and nausea. Cutting back on carbonated beverages, eating small meals, and increasing protein and fiber is key. Adding nausea medication and Gas-X helps."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "My experience is a lot better than I was expecting. I'm on the 2.5 mg a week. So far, the side effects are manageable. I barely get nauseous, but the constipation is real. I really like the once-a-week dosage because I don't particularly care for needles. My weight loss is slow, mainly due to a lack of working out. I'm extremely fatigued and just want to rest. The fatigue hits me early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Stay hydrated!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It was rough in the beginning, with diarrhea, then constipation and heavy belching. The diarrhea ended after about a month, but constipation has continued. In addition to those symptoms, I experienced an undercurrent of nausea for several months, with it being more pronounced just after eating. After about eight months, the nausea abated for the most part. I started on the 2.5 and moved up in dosage every 2 months or so. I am entering month 10 and am on the 12.5 dosage. For the first 6-7 months, I lost approximately 1.5 lbs/wk, and over the last 2-3 months that has slowed down a little. I have lost a total of 50 lbs. The other side effect I've experienced is I sometimes have low blood sugar in the mornings, so I will have juice or something to help take care of it. It is easy to use, and despite the rough start, I am pleased with the results."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I began my weight loss journey in late January 2024. Over the next 12 months, I lost 40 pounds. However, I've hit a plateau for the past four months, since the end of November 2024, and it's now February 25, 2025. I still need to lose at least another 40 pounds. Zepbound has been a significant help in my journey. My clothes fit much better, and I've gone from a size XXL to a medium. In addition to Zepbound, I also strength train, maintain a healthy diet, and track my calorie intake. The only side effects I've experienced with Zepbound are occasional acid reflux, mild nausea, and some constipation. Currently, I am on 12.5 mg, but my doctor has decided to update my dosage to the 15 mg to see how I do on that dosage. Hopefully, it will kick me over the plateau and I will end up losing the next 40 pounds that I need to. Other than that, I love Zepbound. I think it’s great."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started on Zepbound 8/16/24. Have concentrated on protein and vegetables, fruit, and occasional treat. Have lost 31 lbs as of 11/2/24. Side effects have been constipation, which was remedied with OTC collagen and senna. Occasional nausea, especially in the beginning of tx. No longer get hungry and, most importantly, no longer get the cravings for unhealthy food. Recently started walking as it is much easier now with 30+ pounds down. Signed up for 2 exercise classes: yoga and weights. Dilkind has been a game changer for me. Presently on 2.5 injections. Easy to use."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "First things first. I'm a 40-year-old woman. My height is 5'9", and my starting weight was 214. During my first month on Zepbound 2.5 mg, I experienced fatigue, dry mouth, and slight constipation. I'm on my second month dosage of 5 mg now, and I'm experiencing nausea and migraines. This is my sixth injection, and the weight fell off during the first month, and now I'm at a standstill. I'm weighing in at 195 for the last 2 weeks. During my first month, I had no carbs at all. I made sure I had at least 120 g of protein a day, and I weight trained four times a week, getting my goal of 10,000 steps a day. I haven't kept that same training routine these past two weeks, which is why I probably haven't lost any weight. I'd say the medicine really works. I'm not looking to stay on long-term. Since I hit 40, I've struggled with weight, perimenopause, etc. This has been a game changer."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started in January and have moved doses up monthly. This morning I took my 4th 7.5 mg dose. I did have a 2.5 mg pen malfunction and moved up to 5 a week early. I've been losing 1-3 pounds a week, for a total today of 28 lb loss. My goal is to lose 50. As far as side effects, they really aren't too bad for me. Daily Colace helps any constipation, which has not been much of an issue anyway. Occasional nausea is fleeting and is helped with Coke One. I know some are against drinking soda, but Coke One does not have sugar and has been my nausea cure for as long as it's been on the market. My appetite is diminished, but not gone. I've changed my eating pattern to several small, healthy mini-meals during the day instead of 3 'regular' meals. Zero cravings for junk food or much snacking at all. Part, I'm sure, is that I'm keeping those mini meals full of protein and vegetables. The only real issue that I've had is fatigue. It hits about an hour after the shot and lasts about 36 h."
