For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I had no side effects at the 2.5 and 5.0 dosages, but severe bouts of diarrhea and belching occurred soon after the first injection of the 7.5 ml dosage. After consulting with my primary care provider, I kept taking the 7.5 dosage that resulted in nocturnal diarrhea. Therefore, I have decided not to continue with Zepbound. I have only had two injections of the 7.5 ml dosage. Prior to taking Zepbound for weight loss and obstructive sleep apnea, I had taken Wegovy and had no significant side effects other than constipation at the 0.025, 0.050, and 0.075 dosages, but when I tried the 1.0 dosage, I had diarrhea and severe abdominal pain, so I decreased the dosage to 0.05 and lost 36 lbs in 6 months. With Zepbound, I lost 14 more lbs until the severe nocturnal bout of diarrhea. So in total, I went from 246 lbs to 196 lbs, and my need for my CPAP machine was significantly reduced."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "There are pros and cons to every medication that you take. Zepbound does help with weight loss. Your appetite decreases, but you can and will have GI side effects: constipation, gas, abdominal pain with overeating, belching, and nausea. Cutting back on carbonated beverages, eating small meals, and increasing protein and fiber is key. Adding nausea medication and Gas-X helps."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "They keep upping the price, and now I can’t afford it. I lost 43 pounds. It lowered my blood pressure. Dehydration, constipation, and sulfur burps, though. I had a heart attack from the dehydration. I’ve got that managed now-drinking electrolytes. I don’t want to give up, though, but I can’t afford $680 a month."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 67-year-old male. I have been taking Zepbound for 3 1/2 months now. Currently taking the 7.5 strength. I have just reached the 50 lb threshold or just under 20% of my body weight lost. The drug is not a magic potion as you still have to eat the right calorie foods, but the drug makes it much easier as I am really never very hungry and fill up quicker. My biggest struggle has been wanting to snack at night from boredom. As for side effects, I belch more, early on, I experienced some upset stomach but found if I eat a few crackers with peanut butter, I feel a lot better. I also experience some constipation, but my doctor said that was mainly due to the reduced amount of calories I am consuming. Overall, I am thrilled with the experience and results. I plan on losing another 5-10 pounds, then work on maintaining new eating habits. My doctor suggested I order some extra of the 5 strength and keep it back to take if I start sliding back into old eating habits. I plan on doing that."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Zepbound was effective within the first week. I experienced a significant decrease in hunger and decreased interest in food. I also found that I could not always finish a meal serving in one sitting. Initially, I had minor issues in bowel habits (constipation and diarrhea). Both symptoms are minor and managed with adequate hydration and fiber-rich foods. More disconcerting have been the “egg burps” caused by bacterial action on sulfur-rich foods in a slowed GI system. I have selected less sulfur-rich foods and make a concerted effort to drink more water during a day or two following the weekly injection. This side effect seems to have moderated, perhaps as I am into the second month of my current dosage and third month on Zepbound and/or temporarily minimizing sulfurous food intake in a short period following injection. I also track my food intake and assure I am eating an adequate level of protein. I have lost 15 pounds in 10 weeks. I am 77 and a woman."
