For Underactive Thyroid "Was on Synthroid for a year and noticed zero improvement. Got off it for a few years then started again and developed angina-like chest pain out of nowhere when exercising. I felt tired and miserable as always. Begged my doc to Rx Nature-Throid. After being on it 3 months, I realized how much better I feel. No more waking up feeling like crap, no more muscle aches, no more fatigue. Headaches have improved drastically. More energy to work out. No puffy, creased eyes when I wake up in the morning. Appetite is good again and I can eat what I want while maintaining my weight just fine. I am 5'8" and 135 lbs and only exercise twice a week but am able to eat 2000 calories a day, sometimes more, and have gained no weight. Just like old times!"

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I had 1/2 of my thyroid removed. The Synthroid and Levothroid left a taste of aluminum in my mouth. I was nauseous and fatigued. I asked my doctor for Armour, but my insurance didn't cover that so he prescribed Nature-Throid. I love it. I thought it didn't work at first. I thought that you could eat with it, but come to find out, you have to take it 30 minutes before or 2 hours after you eat. I take it on an empty stomach with a full glass of water and have no problems at all. Very good medicine. 65 mg for me. My insurance just sent a notice they won't cover it anymore, but I will protest it or pay out of pocket. I cannot do the Synthroid or Levothyroid... never."

For Hypothyroidism, After Thyroid Removal "I have taken levothyroxine as well as Armour and felt completely run down on both. More so on the Levo. I moved to Nature Throid from Levo about 2 years ago and really started to get my energy back. Last year there was a shortage on Nature Throid and I had to go to Armour, back to feeling like I couldn't lift my head off the pillow. Thankfully Nature is back in stock, and I am doing much better. Hopefully, this will help others who may be struggling with their current meds."

For Hashimoto's disease "Been taking Nature-Throid (48.75 mg) for about 2 years now, and feel great as long as I also sleep well, manage my stress, and stay mostly on the Autoimmune Paleo diet. Have been playing around with diet and lifestyle, and if I eat certain things, I notice a rise in TSH, as well as symptoms (brain fog, low energy, and weight gain). I checked it by sticking to the AIP diet for 3 months, and my TSH went to normal range, and I felt normal. It’s not ideal, but worth it to feel good. Also, I always take meds on an empty stomach in the AM."

For Underactive Thyroid "The newest lab tests show that my thyroid is way off, and I feel like something has gone wrong, starting the last few years. When I try to meditate/rest, every cell in my body is screaming at me that something is wrong. So, after a dozen doctors and lab tests, I changed MDs and switched off Nature-Throid. Email from 2017 regarding the issues I was having with my prescription for my thyroid. Nov 25, 2017, got one new bottle of RLC Nature-Throid, and I had some of the older RLC Nature-Throid from Rite Aid leftover, enough that I can taste a difference between the new bottle and the previous bottle from RLC Lab. I have been double-checking this for a week and noticing a difference: I noticed I have uncomfortable brain fog, lower energy. I was taking it as prescribed, 130 mg. I called RLC Lab and they changed to robots and had troubles."

For Underactive Thyroid "My hair began to fall within a month of starting Nature-Throid. I had not been on any thyroid meds prior, and although I have stopped taking Nature-Throid, I have lost about 3/4 of my hair in less than 6 months with zero signs of slowing down. Have cut out inflammatory foods and supplementing as per my naturopath, but to no avail. Still fatigued, leg cramps, irritable (all symptoms prior to meds), and now hair loss. Never again, and I regret taking Nature-Throid."

For Underactive Thyroid "Today, I suddenly found out that Nature-Throid medication has been recalled and is no longer available. I've been on it for over a year. However, after reading about the recall, it makes me wonder how long the subpotency has actually occurred because my last TSH values in Feb 2020 were higher than they have been in a long time. I have a lot of symptoms of hypo: constipation, hair loss, brittle nails, fatigue, brain fog, dry skin, etc. However, when my doctor tried to up the dose to the next highest, I had horrible heart palpitations. I'm scared and concerned because I have so many allergies and intolerances. This medication contained no excipients that caused me issues. The only one available like it is Tirosint, which only contains T4. My doctor called it in, and it's not covered by insurance, so I have to go through a specialty pharmacy. I am so angry."

For Underactive Thyroid "This medicine has changed my life. After 3 courses of Levaquin for MRSA after surgery last summer, I thought that the extreme fatigue, muscle pain, mental fog, and joint pain that I've had were just part of aging (I'm 61), or side effects of the antibiotic. My TSH levels were in normal range, but my Naturopath saw that the free T-3 and T-4 were very low. We started Nature-Throid in late July, and by August, I was starting to feel human again. It's GREAT."
