Tapentadol for Pain "This is a narcotic. I took it one time and said no way! I was so high I almost fell off the step stool. Slept for hours. Literally stoned, I was. That is not a way to treat pain. Sorry, it might help with the pain because you're asleep and don't feel it. There has to be a better way to treat pain than narcotics. People are dying every day because of the opioids. Why are we still giving them out?"

For Pain "I had a C456 fusion a few years ago. I have taken painkillers for years with no real relief. Palexia 50 mg gave me overnight relief. I do feel drowsy sometimes, but the pain has gone."

For Pain "Occipital nerve damage from a car accident a decade ago. Which results in severe right side temporal headaches. When I was really bad, I would have headaches for a week straight. Wake up with a headache, go to bed with a headache. Tried lots of drugs to help the pain. In the end, tapentadol is the one I take now for any bad headaches. I don't get them as bad now, but some days can be brutal. If it's that bad, tapentadol takes the edge off the headache, which is the best relief. Other times it makes it go away completely. I do get drowsy, like a low mellow high. The relief I get is worth it."
