"Have to admit it works, but the metallic taste in mouth and heart palpitations make me nervous. Haven’t slept for two days because of fast heartbeat. Called my doctor, but he prescribed some medication to reduce the palpitations. Not sure what to expect. It’s the early second month into the treatment with this med. Fingers crossed."

"This medicine helped with the pain. There used to be a time I could not move due to my psoriatic arthritis in my legs, neck, shoulders, and down my spine. I also suffer from psoriasis and it helps to mild the flare-up as well. But I have to take another medicine called Taltz, they work together to give you better results."

"Took a while to feel worthwhile improvements. Also a long (nearly 2 months) of side effects like hot flushes about an hour after taking pill. Serious bloating & nausea & loss of appetite. Disturbed sleeping, still happening. Dropped 5kg, which is not a bad thing when you have arthritis. Now"

"I too am using sulfasalazine for psoriatic arthritis, and it has helped somewhat, and I too have ringing in my ears. Suffice to say, it has helped, so I do recommend it."

"Great response. Reduces P.A. symptoms to virtually zero. Been taking it for 30+ years with no side effects other than increased bleeding if I cut myself."

"I have noticed steady weight gain and swelling, especially in my legs and ankles, on sulfasalazine. I'm going to discuss it with my doctor and hope he will put me back on methotrexate."

"I was diagnosed with PsA at 18 years old and struggled to find a medication that did more good than bad (was on Plaquenil previously but stopped due to eye symptoms) for a while, then I started sulfasalazine. I’m now 20, and I’d say I’m doing better with the help of SSZ. I’m on a low dose right now and plan to gradually increase since I have read that it takes a bit to start working. But even with my current dosage of 2 pills a day, I am already less bothered by the plaques on my scalp, face, and sternum, and my joints only really hurt when the weather changes or if I lose sleep. Looking forward to hopefully feeling even better once I increase my dosage!"
