For Osteoarthritis "I have been getting Gelsyn-3 injections for the past 4 years in my right knee. I have had a great experience with them. The thing I liked about them is that I wasn't getting the side effects that I was from the cortisone. I can get at least a year or sometimes more out of the 3-injection series. I have been very pleased with them. I am very active and these injections have helped to keep me active."

For Osteoarthritis "Started horrific left knee pain out of the blue on Feb 4. MRI said Grade 4 osteoarthritis of the left knee. What happened to Grades 1, 2, and 3, I don't know. Initial pain was excruciating, and I was using a walker. The osteo doctor gave me a cortisone shot, which relieved the pain so that I could hobble without artificial aid. Moved to Gelsyn-3. I had the 3rd injection on Tuesday. Every time, I had a really sore calf muscle to go with the knee pain, and after this last injection, I swear the knee pain is worse. I've not been able to lie down to sleep since February 5, and so now my calves and feet are full of fluid that diuretics won't budge. After the last injection, the osteo doctor referred me to a surgeon, asking me if I was averse to surgery. After these last 2.5 months, I would have it tomorrow if I could."

For Osteoarthritis "I had 3 injections a week apart in September 2018 in my right knee. The injections were extremely painful as the Dr. moved the needle around under my kneecap. I think the injections were somewhat helpful but did not entirely relieve my knee pain, especially from a bone spur. I finally had a total knee replacement last month, and I hope I will be pain-free soon."

For Osteoarthritis "Gelsyn-3 did absolutely nothing in making my knees feel any better, and I gave it plenty of time to work, yet it never did anything. So, I had to go back to the orthopedic doctor, and it was determined that I was correct about Gelsyn-3 being useless. I had to pay out of my pocket for the Orthovisc injections, which do work for my knees. Gelsyn-3 may work for some, but it sure did nothing for me."

For Osteoarthritis "I was getting a feeling of puffiness and stiffness in my leg. Several years ago, I started getting Gelsyn injections every 6 months, and the knee feels normal again. I really want to avoid a knee replacement if I can. My doc says everyone has different reactions."

For Osteoarthritis "I am two weeks out following my third shot of Gelsyn-3, and I have had a slight pain improvement, but the bone-on-bone pain still keeps me from walking any sort of distance, like through a grocery store. I had a headache and back pain at first, but that seems to be subsiding. I am hoping in two more weeks, I will have greater mobility with less pain, but most of these reviews seem to be of a negative result, so I am discouraged. I was hoping these injections would save me from a replacement, but so far, I have not had full pain or mobility relief."

For Osteoarthritis "My provider injected at only one site, not several. He claimed I only could get 1 injection, not the 3 recommended. That’s for the best because I am having unbearable pain in my thighs, they feel overinflated footballs. So much product was injected that my pelvis was pushed up. Now I have pinched nerves constantly pulsing in my back and lower back pain. I have been falling because my knees are so swollen and tight, like cement. I had Suarez many years ago and can 100% recommend it. There are too many negative reviews on this page. My advice is to stay away from Gelsyn-3. Please take this seriously or you may deeply regret having your mobility and your life taken from you."

For Osteoarthritis "I couldn’t walk! Bone-on-bone knee! Started the Gelsyn-3 injections, and it was a game changer! On my second round of shots and feeling good. Do not have complete range of motion, but very little pain, and my knee is not locking up. At-home PT, stretches, and exercises are imperative every other day to keep things moving."

For Osteoarthritis "I have been experiencing knee pain for years. I am 56 and a candidate for knee replacement of both knees. They are now bone on bone. I will be getting the 3rd shot at the end of June 2022. The injections are painful but not horrible. I have felt small improvements after each injection. I try to swim and do light exercises to improve muscle strength and flexibility. I also take omega and collagen every day. I can now get on my knees on the floor and get back up by myself!"

For Osteoarthritis "Been effective for me at 84 years old for knee osteoarthritis. I have bone-on-bone in one knee, and the injection has been good for 10 months plus! I weigh approximately 270 pounds. Less weight on knee helps!"

For Osteoarthritis "I am a 59-year-old female who has had osteoarthritis in both knees most of my life. My last bone density test and knee X-rays showed that my knees are bone on bone, which accounted for the rise in pain in the last couple of years. My rheumatologist suggested the Gelsyn-3 injection, and I will forever be grateful. These injections changed so much for my ability to walk longer and get around so much easier than before. I still have to use a walker due to back problems, but these injections have been such a game changer for me. I did not have any side effects from them, and at 6 months, I am now scheduled for my next round, and it can't get here soon enough for me."

For Osteoarthritis "Earlier today, I had the 3rd dose of Gelsyn-3 in both knees. As in the 1st and 2nd injections, I developed a slight fever and headache, but this has really improved the pain in my knees."

For Osteoarthritis "I received 3 injections, and I thought after the last injection that I would be fine. Not at all, I’m still in a lot of pain. So perhaps my doctor will find something else for me."
