For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy on 1/23/23 and I have lost 54 pounds. I have had pretty good results without a lot of side effects. I'm currently on the maintenance dose and my only side effect that really bothers me is the pain I get in my upper right side in my back. It comes and goes, but when it's there it's uncomfortable. I push my way through those days because this medication has made me feel so much better. I walk every day."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy in February 2023, 5'11, weighing 252 lbs. I am now down to 211 lbs and just started the 2.4 dosage. I have truly been blessed, no real side effects. I heard that you may experience hair loss, however, I started taking Biotin before I started on the meds. I take the injection on Friday night, just in case some side effects appear. I will have the weekend to recover. I don't do any real exercise, however, I am a healthcare worker, so I walk a lot, averaging 3/4 miles daily. I am glad I found out about this medication. My first goal was 220 lbs, however, my new goal is 205 lbs, and then I will just maintain it from there. I didn't have any real health issues before, except taking 1 blood pressure medication daily. I go to the doctor in a couple of months and will probably be taken off it, thanks to Wegovy. Don't let some reviews have you not trying this medication, it is different for everyone. Also, I haven't had any issues obtaining or having to wait for my next dose. My insurance pays for it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I love it! Wegovy did what I needed it to do, it calmed my appetite. I had zero side effects. I lost twenty pounds in one month. I only have one problem, I can no longer get Wegovy in my needed dosage of 0.25 mg. I will patiently wait for the manufacture of Wegovy to catch up to the demand for their product because it works that well for me. Thank you for creating a product that has worked as advertised."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy in Jan 2023 after starting other weight loss rxs in Jan 2020. I lost a good amount of weight in 2020 but felt like I wasn't losing any more and kinda just stayed the same. I was feeling so much better about myself, but also a little disappointed because I wanted to lose more. Now, Sept 2023, I feel so good. I've experienced some of the side effects like nausea and vomiting, but that was because I would push myself to eat and drink more than my body could handle. Once I learned to listen to my body, those side effects stopped. I do not eat very healthy. I try, but I was never a fan of vegetables. My friends are most impressed knowing what a picky, childlike eater I am! I think if I ate healthier, I'd probably have lost more, but I honestly cannot complain. I haven't been this happy in a very long time! I recommend Wegovy to anyone that will listen!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Wegovy is working great! Very important to hydrate and have a lot of fiber. Also, control your portion size; you cannot eat large portions. I'm following a strict 1300 calorie lifestyle change. From June 17, 2023, to present (Sept 19, 2023), I've lost 30 lbs. The injections are simple and virtually painless. I'm currently on 1.7 and I have little to no side effects. I inject every Saturday night before I go to sleep. I read that taking medication before bed reduces nausea and for me, it has worked. The only side effect is that I have absolutely NO desire to drink alcohol. The best side effect ever! I've already stopped taking blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication has been reduced to the lowest dose, and my A1C is out of the pre-diabetic range and within normal limits, and I'm only halfway to my weight loss goal. All medication has been stopped or reduced by my physician after blood work. Very happy!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was on Wegovy for 6 months (I only stopped because of insurance coverage). I lost 60 lbs in that time frame. Side effects were minimal and included nausea, anhedonia, and fatigue. Typically, side effects were worse after I titrated to the next dose schedule and would fade within a few weeks. This medication finally cured my 'food noise' and has been incredible. Lots to come with GLPs and the treatment of overeating and obesity. I am not on Tirzepeptide, and it may even be a bit better than Wegovy."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Wegovy 2 weeks ago and just took my 3rd injection yesterday (start of week 3). I began on the max 2.4mg dosage after trying to obtain lower doses for nearly a year to no avail. I dropped from 260 lbs to 237 lbs in 2 weeks. The first 3 days at this dosage were absolute hell, which I expected. I vomited 4 or 5 different times over the first few days and felt drained and fatigued. I could not stomach any food whatsoever during the first 3 days and just sipped on a bit of water from time to time. However, after the 3rd day, I was 100% and back to normal in all ways, except my appetite. I hardly ever feel hungry and when I eat, I can typically only eat a small portion before feeling full. For example, 2 weeks in, I can only eat like a 3rd of a cheeseburger or a half of a salad. Another good byproduct is that I hardly drink anything alcoholic anymore (beer and wine). For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am currently on day 6, so for the first week I'd say I have had some mild nausea, but it was manageable. I did, however, have a headache pretty much all week. As of right now, I don't have a headache. Some of the headache might have been due to the lack of caffeine. I have not cut it out completely yet, but I have cut way back on my portions and when I feel full, I stop no matter how much is left on my plate. As of right now, I am unofficially at a 5 lb loss. I won't actually record the number until my official weigh-in. I am looking forward to seeing where this takes me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started on 5/23/23. I’m a 47-year-old female, and my starting weight was 193. I am down 21 lbs with no diet or exercise change as of 8/23/23. The first month, I had nausea and significant heartburn, but pushed through it. After I moved to 1 mg, I stopped having the heartburn. I think my body just adjusted. I plan on moving up to the 2.4 mg in two weeks. So happy to be on this medication!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy since March. I get hungry, nothing like I was though. I had gastric bypass and after some years, regained my weight. Took Phentermine many years, that does work, but I also have high blood pressure. So I heard about this Wegovy and new people who went on it, and lost so much weight without trying. I was struggling with clothes not fitting again, looking and feeling awful about myself. I asked my doctor to put me on this, and it’s been life-changing. I’ve lost 36 lbs. I’m so happy my tight clothes are big now. It gave me the confidence I needed. Plus, it is helping me learn to eat cleaner which has been something I’ve been trying to do my whole life. For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have only been on the shot for a week now at the beginning dose, and I definitely see a difference. I have lost almost 10 lbs in the week, haven't really experienced any side effects. I can tell that my appetite has decreased tremendously and I get full quickly and remain full for a while, which forces me to not overdo it when it comes to eating. I am anxious to see what the next few months bring as the doses increase as well. Overall, I am happy to be taking Wegovy and this definitely beats going to the extreme and getting the surgery for weight loss. I chickened out of the surgery at the very last minute due to my fear of complications. Luckily, I was told about Wegovy and insurance covered it as well!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I gained 70 pounds during the pandemic. December 2019, I was 138 pounds standing at 5'3. Then in January 2021, I was 209. I started having back pain and foot pain from the weight. I tried dieting, but I am a single mom that doesn't have time to cook healthy every night, and I work around food, so I told my doctor he has to prescribe me something to lose weight. He saw it was taking a toll on my health as well, so he started me on .25 Wegovy injections. I lost 13 pounds my first month. I had nausea once or twice, nothing I couldn't handle, and I vomited only once. I even had more energy. Then he prescribed me the .5 the next month, but pharmacies all in a 30-mile radius were on backorder for the entire summer with no hopes of getting it in until the end of September. I kept being persistent with the pharmacist, and she said, have your doctor call me, he can up your milligram, and we can get that dose in 2 days, so at this point, I was desperate and starting to gain back the 13 pounds I lost. So I was upped to 1.7. OMG"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm a 59 6'1" year old female weighing 258 pounds when I started taking Wegovy one week ago. I had no major side effects. Just a slight problem with constipation but Miralax helped. I did feel a little more tired in the evenings. My appetite has definitely decreased. I took my second shot this morning. As of the first week, I've lost 6.1 pounds. My goal is to lose at least 30 pounds. It was difficult to get approval from my health insurance, but after several appeals, I finally received approval for 6 months. My out-of-pocket cost is $25."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have just started my 1mg dose. I am on week 8 as I did mess up a shot on my 0.5 weeks. So far, I have had ZERO negative symptoms aside from constipation. I have noticed that in my first week on a new dose, I would lose a lot of weight and then kind of just stay for the remaining doses. I have not changed my diet on purpose but have stopped overeating dramatically. I started at 247 lbs and am down to 230 lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am on week 2, getting ready for the 3rd shot tomorrow. I must be an odd duck because the shot gives me energy and controls my appetite. It also cleared my head, I have no brain fog suddenly. I have had no nausea or constipation yet. Last night, we made hamburgers and I think I overate because I woke up about half an hour after I went to bed, totally nauseous and threw up dinner. I went right back to bed and back to sleep and felt great in the morning. After reading other people's reviews, I think they are right - you need to portion control your food and be totally cognizant to recognize when you're full and not overeat just because it tastes good. That is what has gotten me to this place I am in right now, being overweight. I have lost 5 lbs so far and need to lose around 115 more. Here's hoping Wegovy can take me to the finish line in weight loss."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Good success in the first month at 0.25. 78 years old, male, good health. Started at 248 and now I'm at 228 exactly four weeks later. Coupled with a one-hour intensive hike every day, as well as a draconian (unsustainable) diet. I do this combo every few years and can generally bring my weight down to 210 with great effort. I'm hoping that with Wegovy I can keep the weight off. I'm a foodie who bakes, and I love SUGAR! So, a lot of this early weight loss was easy because I just eliminated all sweets. No more of my precious Mexican coke in ice-cold bottles, NYT cheesecake, home-baked cookies, and croissants!! Just water to drink (lots!) and two small meals a day. Nuts and a teaspoon of peanut butter to curb food desires. Again, not sustainable unless I can get to a Wegovy level which dampens my desire. No significant side effects so far, but I'm moving to 0.5 today. My GERD is gone, my knees feel better, and sleep apnea reduced."

The nausea is horrible, but I have to lose the weight for health reasons. I'm 5'1" and over 300 lbs with bad asthma and CHF. Wegovy has helped me tremendously. I give it a 10."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Day 3 on the lowest dose of Wegovy. I feel like my pain medication, hydrocodone, and ADHD medication, Adderall, are hardly working. I feel like I need to double my other medications because of this. Obviously, I’m not because they are both serious medications that I’ve been taking for a couple of years now. Cannot find any information on this issue anywhere."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Wegovy is one of the best things that happened to me in the past 18 weeks. I was 254 lb. Started around February 16 on 0.25 mg for 12 weeks. In the first 2 weeks, I lost about 5 pounds. Then I got into remission for 3 weeks. Wegovy also helped me keep up with intermittent fasting, which I do 18 hours food-free and then one meal a day. Around the 4th week, I also started going to the gym (1.5 hours walk 2.8 mph incline 8), but still in remission. After the remission finished, then the results came. I was dropping 10 pounds per week. No alcohol too. No side effects! After 12 weeks, the doctor put me on 1 mg as there already was a shortage. So for 4 weeks, I went into remission because I broke my intermittent fast and had some alcohol. Dropped some pounds, but not much because of remission. No side effects! Anyway, now remission is over, so now in the past 2 weeks I am on 1.75 mg because of shortages of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 0.75 mg, and 1 mg. Still no side effects! I have dropped this week 5 lbs alone. From 254 lb, now I am 216.6 lb. Amazing!"
