"Stay away from beef! It's a game changer. I have lost 43 lbs over 4 months. It really works for me. I am at 1 mg/week now, and I feel full constantly. I eat around 1/4 of what I usually did, and my sweet tooth is a lot less than it used to be. I had a lot of side effects with sulfur burps, diarrhea, and vomiting at the beginning. I found a 100% correlation with eating beef and the nasty side effects. Even as little as 1 oz! I had been feeling fine for a month when I last week tried 1 bite of a nice steak! 24 hours later, the terrible side effects were back, and I lost 5 lbs over 24 hours (mostly fluids). So stick to chicken and fish. I have not dared to test pork or lamb yet."

"Started on .25 and now onto .5 for the next 4 weeks. My side effects have been mild nausea, a lot of constipation, slight anxiety, mild diarrhea, mild tummy ache, intermittent tiredness, and feeling somewhat under the weather. There is no pattern, it’s random. I do think it’s the medication, as prior to this, I had none of these symptoms. It is not great, but tolerable. I think the meds are really kicking in now. If I have a small snack, the nausea subsides. I have little to no appetite, probably consume 1000 calories a day. And my mind is not consumed with food, and before I had an obsession with food. For me, it’s been life-changing. I put on 15 kg during Covid lockdown. Was 85 kg, now 81 kg."

"This was prescribed by a weight loss nurse, second time use. First time on .25 mg was okay, but as soon as I go up to .5 mg I am so sick. Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, sulfur burps, it's horrendous!! I do not having tried twice now, with the same effects each time I can say 100% do not try this for weight loss. It is not worth it. It takes 5 weeks to clear the body too!"

"Ozempic makes me incredibly ill! For 6 months, all I can eat is 1 piece of fruit a day, the rest makes me throw up. All I can drink is water, and it tastes bitter. I throw up at least 3 times a day, my nausea won't go away. I can't get out of bed because I keep collapsing. My stomach is hurting so much it makes me cry! My genius doctor says it's not the Ozempic, and my parents believe her. So I'm not even seeing another doctor for this. I feel like I am going to die. I feel like I want to die!! No one should take this poison!!"

"I took Ozempic for several weeks to help lose weight. I built up to 1 mg. I guess it is for about two or three weeks, and I had to stop. My stomach hurts all the time, it constantly feels like I’m just so nauseous, and I have acid reflux really bad. It’s not worth it for me."

"I've been taking Ozempic since January 2022 for weight loss. I started out with a 0.25 mg weekly injection, which was increased to a 0.5 mg weekly injection after the first pen. To date, four months later, I've lost 33 pounds, down to 265 pounds from 298 pounds. My appetite is significantly reduced, and I've implemented healthy diet changes with the help of the weight loss clinic where I'm a patient. Recently, I began experiencing constipation, which is a known side effect. My physician recommended Miralax to combat the constipation."

"I have been taking Ozempic strictly for weight loss for 11 weeks. During this time, I have lost 21 pounds, going from 247 to 226 (5'5" height). I've had a fantastic decrease in appetite; I can only eat about half of what I used to. My cravings for sweets are also nearly gone. I have been aiming for a maximum of 1500 cal per day, but sometimes I'd slip up and go to about 2000 cal (never above 2000 cal). And I'll be honest, these results are with NO change in exercise. I have a moderately active job, but besides that, no significant physical activity. I really need to start exercising regularly, but for such mild changes in my lifestyle, I'm impressed with how this medication is working. I'm currently at 1.0 mg and will be going up to 1.7 mg in about 2 weeks. I'm waiting for Wegovy to be in stock so I can shift to that one instead. My goal is 150 lbs and so far, I'm optimistic about that. Besides occasional mild nausea, I've had no other side effects. Highly recommend!"

"I have had one dose of Ozempic. Since then I’ve had terrible sugar cravings and feel no reduction in hunger, in fact, the opposite. I have also noticed I am in a low mood, which is out of character. Will not be having a second dose."

"I started Ozempic for weight loss (PCOS) on June 27th. In 10 weeks, I have lost 12 lbs. It has been slow going, but I believe it's a sustainable rate so long as the medication continues to suppress my appetite. I ramped slowly up to the 1mg dose (6 weeks @ .25, 4 weeks @ .5, and then up to 1mg), which I think helped with minimizing extreme side effects. I did have nausea and occasional upset stomach the day after injecting, but it would usually subside within a day. The worst side effect I've had is an increase in acid reflux, but I've been able to manage that with omeprazole pretty well. Worth a shot if you suffer from binge eating disorder or if you are on the verge of being diabetic! Everyone's experience will vary, but I have found success with it so far."

"I saw a private doctor and was prescribed Ozempic for weight loss. I started on a low dose and have only gone up to 1 mg. I have lost, with its help, 40 lbs. I am using the same diet and exercise I was using previously, but it has been a game changer for me. I did feel sick in the beginning, but used my weekly injection at bedtime to help this. I have found this to be the best thing I have ever used for weight loss, and I am close to my target weight."

"I started Ozempic last Wednesday. Nausea, upset stomach, and profuse vomiting. I’ve already gone to the ER for fluids last Thursday and now back today for more fluids. I know it’s going to improve my A1C, weight, and BP, but I’m not sure if I can go on this sick. I go back for my 1 week tomorrow."

"Been taking it for 4 doses. First dose was in my arm. Felt horrible, violent vomiting for 45 minutes. The first week was bad but not unmanageable. I stayed away from certain foods, and that helped. The next week moved injection location to leg, no problem since. Moral of the story, pick your shot location and eat right."

"Ozempic has done nothing to help me with Type 2 diabetes nor weight loss. I have some stomach discomfort and some loss of appetite. My blood sugar levels are just as high with Ozempic as before taking Ozempic."

"Sulfur burps, sulfur farts, abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloated, pancreas pain, sore breasts, feeling as if I am going to faint, pressure behind eyes. I have never been to the hospital so many times in my life. They told me I had a 'stomach bug', turns out that it was Ozempic. I had such high hopes, I've heard many great things. User beware!"

"Awful. Just awful. I was fine the first two days after my first injection. Then I woke up in the middle of the night with severe nausea and dizziness. I took Zofran, which helped. I could not eat or move all the next day. Thirty-six hours later, I am recovering. I feel like I had the worst stomach flu ever. I will lose weight the old-fashioned way. This is not worth it. I need my life back."

"I have been taking this medication now for 2 weeks and 1/2 for weight loss purposes, and I started with 1 mg recommended by my friend that lost 15 pounds with it in 2 months. Well, I got very nauseous, dizzy, and headaches, which got better in the 2nd week, but I feel very tired all the time, very low energy, and started having shortness of breath. I lost 5 pounds so far, and I'm still not feeling well. I do get full faster when I eat, but it has been very hard dealing with the side effects. At this moment, I'm not sure if I will go on with it or not. My inspiration is my son, who was 242 pounds and now is 205 after 1 month and 3 weeks of being on Ozempic. It has truly changed his life, and he is super happy, he calls it the miracle drug. I will keep you guys posted on my journey."

"I have been taking it for 5 weeks now. Still ramping up my dosage. 2 weeks at 10 units, 2 weeks at 15 units, and this week at 30 units. Had a bit of mild nausea around week 3. This week has been much worse for nausea and I have been taking Ondansetron 3 times per day. Appetite has been well suppressed, and my weight is down about 5 lbs. Glucose levels have been flatter and moving away from prediabetic levels :)"

"4 days after taking a 0.25 dose, became extremely ill, so weak and tired I could not stand long enough to brush my teeth, constipation, off taste in mouth, heart palpitation, and now my vision is blurry. I ruled out other possibilities, took blood work, heart x-ray, lung CAT scan, saw a heart doctor, and nobody could find any issues. I have been off for 3 weeks and just starting to feel better."

"I had been on a Keto diet for 10 weeks with very little weight loss and then added 16:8 intermittent fasting for another 4, and only lost about 5 lbs in that time. 14 weeks! I had lost 50 lbs in about 8 months a few short years ago and kept it off, thank goodness, doing just a keto diet, no fasting. It was truly confounding why the weight wasn’t budging this time. I went to my doctor because I believe there is a biological reason I wasn’t losing weight, and she referred me to an endocrinologist. BTW, my blood sugar is normal. She asked if I wanted to try Ozempic, as one of the “side effects” was weight loss. I was skeptical, but I was at my wit's end with the poor weight loss results. Decided to try it, injected myself a mere 2 days ago, and I’m down 2 lbs! Only side effects so far are mild and transient dizziness and nausea, and this pressure/heavy feeling after eating even a small meal. I didn’t eat big meals anyway. So far, I’m impressed."

"Very good product for my situation. I was unable to stick to a diet to lose extra weight. Ozempic decreased my appetite without me changing my diet. I enjoy eating healthy, so Ozempic helped me just eat less. I have lost approximately 5 pounds per month over the past 5 months since I began using Ozempic. The once per week medicine is easy to use and has been pain-free. The only side effects have been a slowing of bowel movements to maybe 3 per week, no stomach aches. I do walk at least 30 minutes every day, and I think regular exercise is important to help keep digestion moving. I am thrilled with the results! I am 74 years old and really needed to get the extra weight off to ease the stress on my joints and to keep my blood pressure steady. I have gradually moved my dosage from 0.25 to 0.50 to 0.75 and find I am steadily losing at this level. I may have to move to 1.0 in time but will stay at 0.75 until my weight loss needs an extra boost."

"I am on day 2 of Ozempic for high cholesterol and prediabetes. I need to lose 4 stone in weight. No side effects as yet. Definitely curbed my appetite, which was phenomenal. It feels very strange because I feel I should be eating! Just a strange taste/feeling in my mouth, and it’s made my tinnitus worse, but I can handle that."

"I’ve been on Ozempic for 5 weeks now. I know early stages. I take it for weight loss, as I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and have struggled to lose weight. My doctor recommended it as it may help in weight loss. So far, I started on 0.25 mg for 4 weeks and just moved up to 0.5 mg in my 5th week. I have not noticed any weight change yet, as it is early stages, but have suffered from some nausea and constipation. In the 5 weeks I have been using it, I have noticed my spirits change. I am eating less, mainly cut out binge eating junk food, and portions for meals are smaller. Despite how expensive the price is, I pay in Australia ($132) monthly. I do have high hopes that it will work. I’m currently 125 kg (275 pounds) and hope to lose weight."

"3 weeks in... Initially prescribed for weight management. While my appetite's drastically reduced, I've experienced headaches, some brain fog, and felt a little under the weather. Nausea slightly though it reduced day by day. Fatigue's unbearable. I typically have an upbeat, positive attitude and noticed a not-so-good version of myself just recently. Contemplating discontinuing treatment as excited as I am for the weight loss aspect of it :("

"I've been taking Ozempic for 1 month and lost 10 lbs. (177-167). I was a bit shocked I lost so much because I've been so busy, I hadn't really been watching what I eat. Ozempic makes me feel very nauseous if I eat too much or if I eat bad (too sweet or greasy). Also, I can't eat much, like I get full fast. The 10 lb release has motivated me to get active and keep my food journal! I figure if I do that, I could lose more weight! So far, so good, I would recommend Ozempic for weight loss."

"I also have type 2 diabetes and take Jardiance. I was very unsure if I wanted to take this drug or not because of all the possible side effects. I have been on it now for over a month and have been very lucky that the side effects have been minimal. For the first couple of weeks, I had a little fatigue, mild headache, and a little constipation, but taking magnesium nightly has helped with that. As long as I eat healthy and small portions, all is great. My brain is no longer obsessed with eating, and worrying about what my next unhealthy snack is going to be. All my sugar cravings are gone, and blood sugars are at a 5. In the last 5 weeks, I have lost 13 lbs. I started at 0.25mg and am now at 0.5mg. I do the injection in my stomach, as it is totally painless there. It is not covered by my insurance and is on the pricey side, $266.00 Canadian, every six weeks, but it works for me, so I will continue taking it."
