For Osteoporosis "I took Leah for 8 years, and there was no change for better or for worse. My rheumatologist suggested that I start taking Evenity, and I have had three injections. I believe I feel stronger. I'm very fortunate because I always react well to medications. I still have nine more injections to complete, and hopefully, it'll do its job. I took two injections earlier for 8 years, and at the end of the eight years, the X-rays showed no improvement. My rheumatologist suggested that I switch to Evenity for a year. Thus far, I have had three injections, and it seems to me that I feel stronger. I have had no side effects. I received an injection of Evenity monthly and have had no side effects so far. Everything seems fine, but I am uncomfortable recommending anything to anyone. Listen to your doctor and follow his or her advice."

For Osteoporosis "This is my 9th month having the Evenity injections. I’m not sure if it’s because I have small arms, however, every injection has caused significant pain in both arm injection sites. There is an obvious lump in both arms. Any motion in either arm, I can feel it. I’m not sure if it’s being put in cold, but the medication doesn’t seem to move for at least two days. I’ve tried massaging, heat, and cold, none of which seems to help. I came here looking for tips to help. I’ll try ibuprofen tonight, fingers crossed."

For Osteoporosis "I finished the twelve shots in March 2025. I did seem to have a few side effects here and there. I had a new Dexa scan and discovered Evenity did not help me much. I wanted to ask if anyone else did not have success with Evenity. I had a Reclast at the hospital infusion center. The nurses said it is common to hear that Evenity did not work. I would love to hear comments from patients with poor results from Evenity. One side effect was the bottom of my feet hurt, and it was somewhat painful to walk. I was determined to continue hiking and walking during treatment and did that while trying to ignore the bottom of the feet being painful. After stopping the shots, the pain in the bottom of the feet has gone away. The recommendation will not let you choose anything but Yes or No. My recommendation is maybe."

For Osteoporosis "Quickly seen at the infusion center. Minimal pain with shots. Course now complete, but still feel wobbly and have many dark spots on my face. Not welcomed! Because of other health conditions, I have a hard time knowing which problems to lay solely at Evenity's door. But glad the treatment is finished."

For Osteoporosis "Having extreme fatigue, nausea, and dizziness on my 10th dose and can’t wait to finish. I will never go on this medication again, although it has improved my osteoporosis."

For Osteoporosis "I have only been on Evenity for 6 months, so it is still unknown if it has had any effects on my osteoporosis. I find that the injection is quite painful, but the pain subsides once the injection is completed. A swelling of the injection area is quite visible for 48 hours and then disappears. On the whole, it is very easily applied, and the injection pens are easy to use."

For Osteoporosis "I am 70 years old and started Evenity in November 2024 for osteoporosis. My upcoming shot will be my 8th. I was told by my neurologist that they have seen cases of normalization of the bone matrix after 12 shots. However, I believe the majority have improvement but not normalization after full 12 months of treatment. Unfortunately, I have several moderate side effects that have almost stopped me from continuing treatment, including decreased muscle strength and weakness, joint pain in my fingers and wrist. The worst side effects are generally not feeling well (flu-like symptoms) and exhaustion most of the time. The side effects didn't bother me as much in the winter due to less activity. At this time, I'm going to continue the 12-month course unless the side effects get worse. (My provider requires monthly labs which is getting to be annoying.)"
