Ranolazine for Angina "I didn't realize how much my Prinzmetal angina was affecting my sleep until I started Ranexa. Within two nights, I was sleeping ten hours/night without interruption and awakening refreshed. The first time in over fifteen years. What an incredible experience, night after night, to have no shortness of breath and to be free of chest tightness. Amazing. I'd forgotten the freedom."

Ranolazine for Angina "I am on Ranexa 1000 mg since 1 year now. I still have pain in my chest and arm, plus serious constipation and terrible memory loss. It's short-term memory loss I am talking about, like going for a glass of water from the fridge and forgetting halfway why I walked up to there."

For Angina "I'm 60 years old with angina symptoms; however, I have had a cath angiogram and cardiac MRI, which diagnosed me with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM). Previously, I was taking bisoprolol 2.5. Even after my tests, I continued to struggle with shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain, fatigue, and weight gain. Bisoprolol only masked my symptoms, as I still experienced continuous days of struggling. The doctor at the hospital said it was impossible for me to have angina and that my symptoms were due to HCM. I explained to my cardiologist that bisoprolol was only providing slight relief. As a result, he prescribed ranolazine 500. What a game changer it has been! Now I can walk inclines and longer distances without difficulty. I'm no longer constantly hungry and am losing weight. My energy levels have been restored, and I finally feel like I'm getting more oxygen. I continue to take bisoprolol 5 mg daily in combination with ranolazine. Additionally, my acid reflux has improved, and I haven't experienced any reflux in the past week."

Ranolazine for Angina "Significant reduction in chest tightness, indigestion, and chest pain. I do still occasionally get chest pain that I have to relieve with nitroglycerin, but not that often."
