For Insomnia "You have to know how the drug works for it to be a benefit. It's not an occasional pill you take when you can't sleep. It's something you must take every night, and in the long run, over weeks and months, you'll see a huge impact. The complaints that it didn't work one night haven't been explained to how it should be taken and how it works. It's a solid, non-habit-forming medicine that works great when taken as directed. One of the few medicines that had really improved my sleep without the fog, weight, moodiness, lethargy, and apathy."

For Insomnia "I've had insomnia to varying degrees for about 12 years now (I'm 30 and the problem started in college) and nothing ever worked reliably for more than a short amount of time. I was recently prescribed Rozerem as I'd never tried it before. Bad idea. In addition to not sleeping, I woke up feeling extremely out of sorts, fuzzy, depressed, and lethargic. Halfway through the next day I'm still struggling to focus and my thoughts are disordered at best, on top of feeling totally exhausted."

For Insomnia "Took Rozerem last night for the first time and got drowsy and fell asleep, but my body twitched all night. My sleep was not consistent, and I woke up all throughout the night. In the morning, I slept well past 11 a.m., I felt like a ton of bricks and could not get up. I am usually up and about, running around all day long. Today, I couldn't even leave the house, I was so lethargic from the medicine. I stayed home, didn't even change clothes, and lay on the couch with my eyes closed for hours. It's almost 9 p.m. the next day, and I still feel really weird and tired. My mind was in a daze all day as if I couldn't get anything done as a result."

For Insomnia "I tried Rozerem upon doctor's request. First night, I was not sure if it worked or not. The next day, I took a nap around 2 pm and felt horrible after waking. Headache and utter exhaustion. Tried for the second night and was unable to sleep until 4 am. It gave me a feeling of anxiety."

For Insomnia "Rozerem has been very effective for my sleep-onset issues, with little side effect. However, some days I feel extremely tired (sleepy) throughout the day at random points. This severity of sleepiness really only seems to occur the day after I have taken Rozerem (I do not take it every night if I can help it)."

For Insomnia "I'm on day 5. For me, it hasn't been as bad as others have had it. It's effective for making me fall asleep, but I still wake up early. I actually dream versus not before, so that's a good sign I'm going into a deeper sleep. The next day, I feel more tired though. A big part of sleep is not just meds, I, like others, rely on them too much. There is so much you can do in addition to sleep meds. Like proper sleep hygiene, no TV or screens at least an hour before bed, stress relief through exercise, maybe yoga, whatever works. It's a lot of personal responsibility that people don't take, including me. I'm trying though."
