Prochlorperazine for Nausea/Vomiting "10 mg Compazine, prescribed for hyperemesis gravidarum - completely sedates me to the point of almost-sudden unconsciousness & does nothing for nausea. Still puking 5-10 times a day."

For Anxiety "Quickly calmed me down and got rid of nausea caused by anxiety, but the sleepiness it caused me to experience made me very stressed out about being unable to do what I needed to get done."

Prochlorperazine for Nausea/Vomiting "I am also wondering if these negative reviews are real. I had Compazine when I was hospitalized multiple times for gallstones gone bad. I had an obstructing biliary duct stone, then severe swelling of the duct after the stone was removed, and liver failure. Multiple surgeries and multiple hospitalizations. My nausea was so bad I could only take sips of liquid rarely, a total of about 2-3 ounces in a day at my worst. Zofran didn’t help at all. Compazine was a miracle. I had it IV and later orally. The only side effect was sleepiness and the improved nausea. I’ll be real-the nausea didn’t go away, but it lessened. I still take this rarely at home if I’m feeling really nauseous."
