"I am using this drug for the first time to ease pain and inflammation due to temporomandibular joint disorder. Even taken with Nexium (which I have taken for half a year), it upsets my stomach. The pain is lessened, but not by much. Also, the swelling has continued to get worse. Some drugs work better for some, while some work better for others. I don't discourage anyone from using it. Good luck!"

"Just started this in the gel form. I'm taking it with codeine and paracetamol, and that seems to do the trick nicely. Before, it was just the tablets, and they wouldn't touch it, but so far, so good."

Piroxicam "The Feldene dulled the temporomandibular joint disorder pain some, but did not take it away. I often had breakthrough pain when on the Feldene."

"I've been taking 20 mg once a day along with Skelaxin for my Temporomandibular Joint Disorder pain for about a year now. What a lifesaver! For those with TMJ problems taking only piroxicam, talk to your doctor about adding the Skelaxin. I'm no longer crying at the end of a workday!"
